Got my 2.0 setup installed over the weekend.

From jacking the truck up, taking the wheels off, and taking it for two test drives, total 3 hours. Milwaukee cordless impacts (mid torque, stubby, and impact driver) FTW.

    I went with the following:

    Eibach 2.0 Front Coilovers
    Eibach Rear Shocks
Eibach 1" Rear Lift Block (wanted everything to match so had to wait for this)

The rear took about 30 minutes total, with a test drive. The blocks aligned easy enough.

Fronts needed two people for sure just to hold suspension components out of the way while you put the coilovers on the truck.

I did somehow manage to rip a sway bar end link boot, so I have two new ones coming from Rock Auto, nice greasable MOOG ones for $60/shipped.

I have NOT adjusted them, just waiting for them to settle for a few days but got about 1.5" up front, and exactly an inch out back. Drivers side is a little shorter but I'll fix that prior to alignment.

Truck drives great, I really can't even feel much change, but definitely better - less body roll, less brake dive, etc.

On bigger pot holes it definitely feels a little firmer, but really super happy.

Throwing a set of 265/70/17 Goodyear Ultra Terrains and 17" Methods on once the alignment is done. Should look just about perfect.

    [EDIT]
For install tips - I'd recommend pulling the front sway bar off entirely, and then doing the relocation brackets and reinstall as the last step. Takes an extra 5 minutes and you won't have to fight with it all.

Did a quick little impromptu #teameibach run at Cleghorn this past weekend, I really wanted to test out the new tires I just got lol

My truck and the LC are running the 2.0 coils and my buddy’s GX is on the Pro Kit 1.0.

First time up to Cleghorn for me and it definitely put the coils to the test as even the fire road is starting to get really rutted. Truck handled great, took the rutted spots like a champ, the new rebound rates on the shocks make for a smooth yet confident ride when on the trail.

I like mine well enough so far. If it wasn’t for the fact that I’m getting ready to move I would do new control arms and a 1” rear block and raise it a little more.

Cleghorn looks super fun. I want to try it sometime soon.

I have already received them but I haven't put them on the truck yet. I am still trying to decide what I'm going to do on the rear. I don't want to have the front higher than the rear. I also don't want to beef up the rear to much and have a rough ride. I currently have a camper shell and my truck sits almost perfectly level.

We are in the same boot. I am curious to know how much lift these give on a 2nd Gen. Please let me know how you make out. Thank you in advance!

Everything I've seen it seems a 3rd gen shock will give and extra inch on a 2nd gen than it does on a 3rd. (Our trucks weight less in the front even though we have a bigger engine. Weird I know) so if these coilovers give 2 inch out of the box on a 3rd gen expect 3 inch on a 2nd gen. I'm already thinking I'll lower the coil to the lowest setting when I install mine. See where it sits and raise it to a good setting that doesn't put my axles at a bad angle and gives the truck a little rake. Oh and I wanted to mention my kit came with the new updated tool.

Really? I wasn't aware that they gave the 2nd Gen that much lift. Good to know. Thanks for that info. That helps. I was thinking it would give the 2nd Gen less but that even better!

But the problem is to much lift is a bad thing. I wore through axle boots on my last build. The harsh angle will make the boot rub on itself and then when you off road you will stretch it and tear pretty easily. So I'm trying to avoid that this time around.

FWIW, I have a 3rd gen...just installed these with 650lb springs. I was completely leveled with my Snugtop. At the shipped setting, it lifted me up 3+ inches... I dropped them down to the very lowest thread and it was pretty much back to stock height and slightly more floaty in drive. Just a 1/4 inch back up in the threads gave me a little over an inch back in lift, which is where I wanted it. I have an inch block in the back until my leaf pack shows up. Kind of surprising how much of a difference the additional 50lbs in spring rate made. It takes the bumps better, corners slightly better, but feels like it's stock.

Just ordered mine with Eibach. Only a few weeks out on shipping and with the sale going on it was $901 free shipping for the full set with rears. You have to call them and do it over the phone though.

I have a prerunner so front axels boots are not a factor for me but I definitely see what your saying. I really only wont around 2 1/4 - 2 1/2 inches of lift. I have a shell with a 1 inch block as well. Don't really won't to do a whole lot out back. Maybe an 1 1/2 inch block but no more. I have a new leaf pack from alcon springs. Keep me up dated brother. Would like to know what you come up with.

    Just got my wheels on!

285/70/17 KO2s w/ 17x8.5 -10... no rubbing so far! My house is at the bottom of the hill so the truck looks nose high, but the truck is level.

Sorry for the shitty iphone 7 pix

Thanks  I had Eibach adjust my 2.0 coils to match the height of my old Stage 1. I'm currently sitting at ~22.5" wheel center to fender
