This seems like a really fun waste of my money.

Like I said, if you have the title, go for it, and wait as long as you want! It you leased or financed your truck, that company will get notified by the state that you need an inspection, and your registration will be suspended before you know what happened (I know this from experience, it just happened to my uncle who leased a vehicle).

I mean honestly for only 1500 that’s not bad. I didn’t read it though I have no idea if it doesn’t start or something. But that war wagon driving around east prov would be awesome.

    I do own it. Fortunately.

    It runs!

hell the roof basket and wheels+tires would be worth 1500 at a part out so I might give the guy a buzz.

My father had three different GL and Loyale four door wagons. They were almost hilariously slow and underpowered.

How does that thing even move with those tires?

I was disappointed when I saw that it had an automatic, but when I thought about it the slushbox makes sense; that thing would destroy a clutch before you made it through 3 stoplights

My mom had a Loyale wagon when I was a kid (bought new in '89, traded in '96 when I was 12), and with the 2wd/5speed setup that she had it was actually a fairly lively car (for the era). But I "dated" a girl in high school who had a ?91? in 4x4/auto and it was a dog. Nice and roomy in back, though, once you laid the rear seats down :anonymous:

And the 4x4 was good for getting pretty far back in the woods, where you wouldn't have a flashlight knocking on the window at an inopportune moment...

Good, then the state won't bother you then. Save the $55 bucks, and don't bother with an inspection for a few years!

The inspection my FJ was 2 years overdue at one point. Only reason I got one was so I could renew my registration.

Well, have a rental lol. Infiniti is down due to a seized caliper. Needed pads and rotors too. At least the caliper is covered by the extended warranty lol. Bad alignment, oil change, reseat the bead on one tire due to small leak. If it wasn't so close to birth I would have done the pads and rotors myself but hey you pay for convenience sometimes

Anyone in central mass have a lift I could throw the venza on for a couple minutes (6 bolts) to put a tow hitch on? I don’t wanna do it upside down on a creeper in the graded driveway.

I feel your pain. I had to add it to the red truck when I bought it. More of a pain to install than one would think. Ended up going to my buddys place, and we both crawled under there to do it.

And that Venza is lower than a midsize truck....

Was gonna have Toyota throw one on while it was in for service but they wanted $490 for the part alone that was $165 on e-trailer. Maybe I can just pay a local shop to throw it on, won’t take more than 10-15 minutes... class III and not even towing with it, it’s just for a bike rack

If you notified the issuing department and the FRB that you moved out of state, it's likely that they cancelled your LTC and you'll need to start from scratch. If you didn't notify them and you are moving back to the same address, then it's likely not an issue. You don't need a DL for a LTC. You do need proof of residency though.

You have some amount of time after you move back to get your LTC if it was cancelled. You can also bring in any non roster guns that you bought in NM. Even though the wording is unclear there is no requirement to register guns brought in from out of state when you move.

You can get really good information on this if you sign up over at https://www.northeastshooters.com/xen/forums/. Good group of people over there with a good knowledge base on the laws.

cars and light duty trucks (Tacoma’s and probably includes F150s etc) are a 24 month inspection in RI. Registration on trucks is every year, apparently in March every year (combo), but I dunno. Registration is every year but not related to anything for cars. Like in NH it was your birthday - was easy to remember. In RI it’s whenever you register it, regardless of the calendar year, birthday, whatever. Got super annoying it used to be in October with my old Mazda.
