Bought myself a racing Wheel for the PC again because I missed putting in time on the Simulator. Cat chewed the old one, but managed to get newer version for less than the old one goes for right now through offerup. Guy had sealed box because of special deal via his job :D

Did you ever dip your toe in their Massachusetts plant? They were forced to buy it from digital after losing a massive lawsuit over the Alpha chip manufacturing process and some stolen architecture. It was basically a big lemon that had not kept up with the advancement and chip technology. By the time Intel was finally forced to take over the plant it was years behind technology. Now it’s just an R&D facility with about a fifth of the number of jobs that used to have and used to be thousands of people 24 hours a day.

I did not. I've worked almost exclusively on the West Coast. Arizona is about as far East as I've gotten. I've visited plants on the east coast and done site surveys and stuff when needed, but never got too much into their specific businesses aside from a product supply perspective.

I did, however, work for a company based out of Milwaukee when the whole Foxconn thing blew up in the state's face though. That was an endless source of entertainment and bad decisions and politics.

Not fight appropriate footwear. If we’re forced to defend our cult lands against incursion from the neighboring cult that made all their money on Robinhood puts...you don’t want a flip flop on your foot.

Good times lol. Good times. Nothing like state funding run amok.

Getting the Gigafactory here in Reno was a HUGE controversy for years. It mostly worked out. Kinda.

If GME goes high enough to pay for a trip to Germany then maybe that money will go toward an experience for me. upload_2021-4-2_19-51-22.jpg
Id like to drive the Nordschleife IRL but for now I settle with sitting on my ass whenever I'm not working or in school and driving on Assetto Corsa(Simulator program). Question is whose down for a trip to Germany and fastest lap time wins free beer for the trip at the expense of the others?

Baseball spikes. Just run at them and slide studs up. Hurts like a mofo when someone sticks them in your shin.

If GME hits where I'm expecting to hit, I'll fly a plane load us out there on a charter. My roots are all German, lets do it.

Ha ha!! That's why when I played 3rd Base I use to wear 1 soccer shin pad on my left leg under my baseball sock...I'd put it on the left outside against my skin...I'd hinge my leg down to block the bag just before I caught the ball (For stealing or first to 3rd outfield base hits etc) and they would slide in so intent on spiking my leg they'd forget to go for the base...
    OUT....
Coach thought I was crazy for how many times I blocked the bag...
One day I said "Nah, I just wear a shin pad under my sock"
He's like "What? You can't do that..."
    and I said "yes...I can.."
Now I think it's more common...But this was the grunge 90's...
