I have 36 slots, and this will be HIGHLY experimental! Hoping for lettuce, anything else is bonus. I have no idea how "upright" plants will grow in it - we shall see!

That looks cool! The Masterbilt are pretty new I guess. I saw a good reveiw in Pop Mech, forgot it, got reminded again and dug it out. It can use lump or briquette charcoal, and/or wood chunk in the hopper, and wood chips in the ash for smoking. I spent a lot more time tending the fire than the cook. This one is a set and cook - 12 hours worth of fuel in the hopper! And, it can get to 700*F for searing within 5 minutes! Next time.....

 

Yup, that's what those pellet smokers do, smoke for 15+ hours, I don't think they sear very well, more for long periods of low heat and smoke

 

What nutrient solution do you plan on using? or do you plan on mixing yourself?

Try black seeded Simpson lettuce, it does good in our area. You will have to check the Ph of the water atleast twice a week.

 

Fish pond to start. Goldfish make great plant food. It's going next to the pond.

Duty to Display Lights
(a)
A vehicle shall display each lighted lamp and illuminating device required by this chapter to be on the vehicle:
(1)
at nighttime; and
(2)
when light is insufficient or atmospheric conditions are unfavorable so that a person or vehicle on the highway is not clearly discernible at a distance of 1,000 feet ahead.
(b)
A signaling device, including a stoplamp or a turn signal lamp, shall be lighted as prescribed by this chapter.
(c)
At least one lighted lamp shall be displayed on each side of the front of a motor vehicle.
(d)
Not more than four of the following may be lighted at one time on the front of a motor vehicle:
(1)
a headlamp required by this chapter; or
(2)
a lamp, including an auxiliary lamp or spotlamp, that projects a beam with an intensity brighter than 300 candlepower.

An auxiliary driving lamp shall be mounted on the front of the vehicle at a height from 16 to 42 inches.

Auxiliary driving lamps may be used with headlamps as specified by Section 547.333 (Multiple-beam Lighting Equipment Required).
