    Well he wants $6700

I think thats too much with faded roof paint, no interior carpet, and needs front seat replacement. That price gets me a 2003 V8 Tundra.

@Pickeledpigsfeet what do you think? My fleet is similar to yours (FJ and stook) and curious about your opinion

shit, sorry I didnt see this. Thats a lot of cash for a auto and that high of mileage. What did you end up deciding? He will probably get what he is asking for it, but prices are crazy right now.

check rear axle at the passnger side perch. If it is wet, then bring that up and hangle him down. The housing tears right there, I have had to welded a bunch of them over the years.

    What you think it’s worth?
    No interior carpet
    Bad seat

He wants me to make an offer

I don’t want to pay same price as a 01 v8 tundra access cab

    appreciate your input on price

I missed this thread the first-time around so thanks for tagging me!

It's hard to say, prices are all over the place, but with high miles and a beat interior I wouldn't want to pay more than 4K. If it were 2WD I would say it would be closer to 3K. I like the Rhino-lined front bumper and grill. Make sure the HG's on that 3.4 have been replaced.

Bear in-mind I think the total number of T100's produced was ~150K and most of those were 2wd so they're getting rare. Although I never expect them to become collectible or valuable.

    Good luck!

    Yeah at this mileage
    Won’t ever be collectible

for me 4wd is a must

what do you think price wise ?
    I was thinking 3500-4k
Doubt he will give it for that

I'd offer 3500. I'm not sure I'd want to go much higher than that.

Sorry for not adding this last night, but one other thing to consider about used T100's is there are some parts on them which have been discontinued and are now hard/impossible to find. A year ago a local Body Shop spent a month trying to locate a replacement driver's-side Door Latch for my T100; after 27 years mine failed leaving the door rattling which annoyed me but also stopped people from asking to borrow my truck (mine's a long-bed, standard cab and at this point I think just about everyone I've ever met has used it to move twice), I was okay with my truck not being in-use every weekend but it was a bit unsettling to be on the freeway with the door rattling beside me.

Toyota doesn't make that part anymore, there's no aftermarket that's makes that part and despite the fact that many of the parts on the T100's were carry-over's from that generation of pre-Tacoma truck and 4Runner, the door latches are unique to the T100. Eventually the Body Shop found a used one which works fine, but they told me there are other parts which are getting hard to find for these trucks.

IMO, it is a $5k truck. If it passes smog I would buy it. In NorCal 1st gen tundras are now averaging $10k. The whole truck market is screwed up.

Looking at craigslist anf facebook marketplace in Ca, the only t100s that are under 5k are 2wds. Then all the 4wds look to start around $7k. If you decided you didnt like it, it should sell easily for $5k.

My only concern would be the auto trans at that mileage, but many have 300k on them with no issues.

I have manual swap one before. Its a fun project. Its what I would be looking at if I was buying a auto.

If you get it drain some fluid and send it to Blackstone to analyze. They will tell you if it is having internal issues.
