Actually, we have great tap water here in north MS. I buy the bottle to keep at work. Folks contribute and I go to the local Kroger and stock up about once every 2 weeks.

I grew up drinking water from the waterhose.

It has to be a old hose though, needs to be seasoned to have the correct flavor. Nothing better than ice cold water from a hose.

Same goes for lake water. I live on lake that was made 60ish years ago for some power plant. 18 now and still no radiation poisoning

I had to stop doing this around age 13 after I got a mouthful of about 40 earwigs. Just remember to let the hose run for a couple of seconds before you stick your mouth up to it.

It’s all personal reference, I like this design better than mine. but I just don’t like cutting the bumper, so I bought a different one.

Today I got my front windshield tinted and moved my toolbox into my storage rack to free up some room in the garage.

OK - did the trip to Ace Hardware. Picked up some black anodized zinc plated 12.3 Hardened bolts (The highest metric class for strength, it exceeds Grade 8) which is what is shipped with the Chaos Fabrication bolts. Not that the ones they ship are bad - they are actually pretty good grade-8 bolts. I just wanted something better and black too.
    Chaos_Bed_Stiffners_05.jpg

Metric bolts in place (left bracket) and lower bolts painted black as well. I also sprayed the Metric bolts with some glossy rustoleum as well. Makes them look nicer.
    Chaos_Bed_Stiffners_06.jpg

Metric bolts in place (Right bracket) and lower bolts painted black as well.
    Chaos_Bed_Stiffners_07.jpg

This project is now officially closed.
