Owning a Tacoma sounds like a good financial decision to me. You’re just taking care of your investment.

I love this thing. Mine was a bit pricey, but it is extremely useful.

That's what I'm talking about, no cutting. What bumper is that, it looks like a cap over the existing OEM one!, if that's the case then that's brilliant!, I would love to know who made it.
    Thanks

Welp it’s done. Over the last 5 days I cut off my LCA mounts. I replaced them with the JD Fab pivot bracket. I then proceeded to put some 37’s on from a CL find. So with a 2.5” dobinsons lift and some love you can fit 37’s and a turd gen.

I was just thinking about doing a DIY just like this. Where do you source the aluminum? 80/20?

I’m in Canada so I ordered from Rocky Mountain Motion Control, but it is an 80/20 product so you can just pick whichever local retailer works for you. All in, the project was less than $200 CAN.

I never would have believed that ANY automobile would be a good investment. However I recently got a quote from CarVana on my 3 year old TRDOR that was $1,520 less then what I paid for it more than 3 years ago.

Very similar to my first experience with a Toyota. I bought an 06 Limited Tundra in 09. I then totaled the truck in 2011. I then got a check from the insurance company for $800 more than I originally paid for it in 09. Toyota has the best resale of any vehicle IMO.
