Good points. I do agree that the full length looks better. Leaning towards that. Now just gotta figure out if it’ll clear the cabin.

Measure your truck to be sure, but you might want the 22" ALUMAX: https://www.max-modular.com/shop-max-modular/alu-max-22-high-aluminum-truck-bed-rack

The 58" doesn't really add much more space over the 46", but evaluate what you want to carry on the rack and go from there.

I'm interested in getting a topper max for my pickup in the next few weeks. Do you have any current promotions or upcoming sales?

Does anyone have a picture of the cargo box on a 10" rack with a rtt? Wondering if the door on the box will make contact with the tent

This pic won’t help much but at the moment can’t snap a pic. I own a 23zero as well and have the tent offset slightly towards the cargo box with no issues.

Subbed if you get a chance to get a pic with tent mounted... I have the 10" max modular and hard shell tent.

And looks like you removed the shelving to maximize space? Still liking the extra storage?

    And thanks.

Awesome! Thanks - it would be great to see a pic with the tent whenever you get it mounted back up.
This is going to open a ton of cargo space for me... right now all my recovery gear and tools are a mile in the air on my roof lol.

Access to recovery gear is what brought me to spending the money on this. Had a situation with a truck miles and miles away from help where a quick extraction was needed and fumbling to get gear down etc cost us time. In the end the truck needing help was a total loss no matter what but not having your gear readily available doesn’t help any situation.

Here are a few quick pics. My Breezeway 62 tent sits 4.5 inches from the side of the tent to the side of the rack. This is of course on the side where the cargo box is

I have been needing to write my impressions on this item since I’ve had it on the truck for a few months and will get around to it this week

It would work for sure. The door is not required to lift all the way up to gain access to the box.

I have had the CargoMax now for a little over 2 months. When I first saw it I really wanted it for cargo management. I even upgraded my cargo rack from the original steel version to the new version of the racks in aluminum so that I didn’t need to modify anything to make it fit correctly. The old rack was an easy sale. I also appreciate the good finish on the rack as my old one had issues from the beginning with the powdercoat.

My idea with it is to have all of my recovery gear: tow straps, tree straps, snatch blocks, Kinetic rope, safety equipment, basic tools, gloves, siphon etc. always in it secured. It does that well and I have all my equipment at hand easily.

It seems very well built and comes nicely packaged. As stated on the website it comes assembled but loose and requires the end user to finish it up by tightening things up after installed onto the rack. It’s simple and straightforward. After loading it up the center does bow a bit but not by much and the locking function of it continues to work. I ended up moving the tools/heavy stuff to the side but it probably wasn’t necessary.

The finish feels and looks really good and it matches the aluminum rack that I have.

If I didn’t have a bike mount on the opposite side I would consider having one on each side.

I do have a few things that I would improve. First are the locks. After one long drive east to west in northern Nevada through some nasty weather the locks failed and required me to spend some time cleaning them up. Going off of the logo on the key (compX security) the locks seem to be for a filing cabinet and not for outdoor use. I ended up buying some new locks with weather shutters and have had zero problems with my locks even through winter roads with all the crap that is put on the roads. I did ask for the part number on the provided lock and did not receive it from KBVooDoo so I ended up putting in a little extra work making the locks work. I wasn’t sure how to measure the throw arms. The replacements came with long arms that I ended up cutting down, rounding and smoothing the edges to make-work.

The next little issue I had was the hinges. A screw and washer on one easily pressed through into the cargomax. Fixed with a random washer from a ceiling mounted home fan. Also the hinge rusts a little bit.

Overall though I am happy with it and enjoy its function and looks. I am not a great photographer but I will edit this post and add some pics of the rack and cargo max when I get the truck in a pretty spot. Thank you KBVooDoo for a great rack and cargo box!

    Locks I purchased
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009OYU7LK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
As stated above you will need to either modify the provided swing arm on the new lock or figure out the correct arm length and purchase it separately.

Excellent write up on the cargo box @BroID. You and @KB Voodoo are making this hard on me! I have some suspension work right now but I'll swing back around to this post. Thanks again.

Got it installed.. So far so good. I'll put it through it's paces when the weather breaks.

Edit - my hands were too frozen to mess with the wiring, that'll be another day :)

Can anyone let me know what the diameter and thread pitch is for the tonneau adapters? I wanted to look into getting some tamper proof nuts
