It's hard to beat the noise and smell. Plus it's so oddly different.

You guys are pretty resourceful, so I'm going to possibly entertain something that has been brought up to me many times by friends/family and even customers at work.

What would the appropriate channel be to say, look into the large 3M class action lawsuit?

I'm a combat disabled veteran, and part of that disability includes tinnitus; I do have hearing loss above the average but unfortunately not rated for it.

From what I understand there are law firms that will represent a large number of the affected and have forms to submit your info to them. If you're eligible they'll add you to the represented.

I've never taken part in a class action before - I don't know how true it is but from what I've heard, the only people that actually get anything worthwhile from a class action settlement are the lawyers.

I honestly wouldn't know...does the VA offer a way to get involved?

And that's the thing; so many online offer it but who's to say what firm is legit and what one isn't. Not to mention the below comment...

Choosing the right firm to even get anything at all from them. That in itself I expect to be the biggest hurdle.

And no, the VA doesn't have anything to do with it nor offers help. They barely help our veterans with their own support and services

I think its best to contact a CA firm that is representing vets in the process. Maybe one with a local reputation.

I've seen some sharp CA law firms win class action suits against Honda for bad rear main seals on V6 engines. You are in a good state for representation.
