I just stacked a pack of washers between the back of the light base and the bumper mount because the light is bigger than the opening if you stuff the light all the way back in there with just the supplied bolt. Make sense?

bolt doesn't need to be that long, but they were the shortest ones I could find

Any pics from the back? Behind the bumper showing how they are bolted.

If you've ever popped out your fog lights you will know that there is a mounting hole at the bottom of the opening. The bolt just goes through that, and you use the nut and lock washer supplied with the dually on the back.

The ambers look pretty kick ass... I have a feeling I will put a couple of the new amber D2's up front on my rig and put the white floods out back for reverse/work lights.

Any chance for beam shots with the LEDs in? Also, any problems adjusting the lights once they're mounted?

Looks real cool- I'm a bit torn on the look though with the sort of gaping hole from the fogs. Clean install.

They are pretty easy to adjust because they only take bout 30secs to take off or put on.

I think the hole looks bigger than it does because of the black surround on the leds.

If anyone would like to purchase the new D2 Dually lights, let me know right away so I can put your name on the list. These lights will be sold out faster than he can make them so I need to let him know how many I need before he releases his first batch. I have a few sets on order right now, if anyone else wants in on the first set they need to let me know right away so I can grab them.

They are going to put out 2.5x as much the light as the original version. The original ones (ones I have) come amber as well. If the new ones are the same dimensions as the old ones I want a set, but I have a feeling that now because they have 6 leds they will be a bit larger :(

From what I am told, the new D2's will be inside the same housings keeping them the same size as the original duallys. I was also told they will be available in amber as well. They will be available in either a dual beam pattern which will have both a 9 and 18 degree throw or a wide beam pattern which will have a 30 degree throw.

Thanks for pointing that out to Beau for me.

I will have these new lights on my truck as soon as I can get my hands on a set. If you want one right away let me know and I will add your name to the list so you can have one of the first lights available.

If you can figure out if they are going to be the exact same dimensions you might have another customer on your hands <

Hey Brandon, I just talked to the owner at Rigid and he confirmed that the new D2s will be the exact same size as far as outside dimensions. It is the same housing, just new internals.

They are expensive, but they produce 2600 lumens in a light that isnt much bigger than the head of a maglite.
