Well finally bit the bullet and replaced the passenger turbo after letting it sit in the box for a week. I can safely say for now there's 0 smoke. Still skeptical of course but we're making progress.

When I took the old turbo out today you can clearly hear the bearings are shot. Went to go back and check again and there's no sound and they sound fine. Went to put the new turbo in and saw oil from the exhaust housing and knew that the old one was pooched. Kinda crappy that the turbo has been blown since day one and no one seemed to want to warranty it for me while they had it. Could have saved me $1800 for a new super core. You know what they say fool me once shame on me, fool me twice go **** yourself

I will drive it for 500 miles and see how it does and then Boostking and I will keep tuning. After I have this truck dialed in it's going to be very hard keeping it and not wanting to get rid of it. I am looking at a 2021 Ford Ranger Tremor if I do end up ditching the truck. I'll need at least $35k to make it work.

I'm familiar with that look on the exhaust housing, definitely bad seals. My turbo on my 135i is toast right now. But still spools, just smokes hard on decel.

I would smoke out the Whataburger line all the time so let's see if we're fixed

I like when my tests are totally random situations. I could always get my DCT to act up in the line for coffee after being on the highway. Hard to explain to a barista why you're on your laptop in the coffee line plugged into the car.

I had to explain that the buzzing sound from my trunk was an external fuel pump each and every time I went through pre-K car line. When it finally died I went with an intank setup and no more questions. Same women over and over and over.

My truck so loud you can't hear the pump or anything else. I'm getting an intercom this year

Makes sense when the passenger was blown and the driver had to overcompensate to keep both going. After I replaced it the driver couldn't keep up anymore after having all that pressure drop and just gave out

Isn't this the truth. Hard to know what to do once that stress is gone. Easier said than done.
