It’s grinding a bit when I spin it, but no play. Also noticed it “whistling” louder going down the road. Plus all the growl can’t be the mud tires, it seems really loud now

The difficult part has been finding someone with the right press jig for the bearing. No one I’ve called has the right one for my truck.

The rear??? You sure it isn't just the brakes dragging or something like that? My rear got put through hell and the bearing was still good axle and housing not so much and well over 200k

I did a bunch of the first gens and earlier trucks without one you just have to know how to set up everything. I've even done them no press just used an iron pipe the inner race of the old bearing and a BFH just supported the axle flange so it wasn't resting on the studs. Just find you a good press man that can figure out how to set things up and actually knows where to put the force to not mess the new one up.
I've been doing the same thing on my new knife I got for my bday from the kiddo  For some reason it had to go 2.5 hrs N away from me to then come back down here o_O

I've also been looking at Katskin leather covers:rofl:. I wonder what it would look like to change my tan to a baseball glove color. I don't know if I could get paint/dye to match the interior well enough. I highly doubt I would go that route....just window shopping cause I'm bored

I've been looking at the blue ovals with that leather interior it's sexy I like the darker color like that the look and feel to me seems nicer.

One of my friends just got a Telluride with the brown leather I got to see tonight. It's nice as hell. She paid it off in 4 months. She took some travel nursing jobs once the money started rolling in with WuFlu.

The dealer mentioned something about a complete axle maybe prepressed? Shit was expensive though. $1200 for both

Those are pretty cool some magazine took one to URE and offroaded it here. Those traveling nurses make some bank but they also can get some pretty shitty gigs too.
