Made of steel instead of aluminum this time. Hopefully, no more breakage.

Breakage from weight, vibration, or flex? The rack looks stout enough to act as a roll bar if it was mounted down to the frame. How much weight are you carrying?

Brekage from all of the above. My last rack made of aluminum couldn’t withstand the beating.

I do like the idea of a roll bar. There were times when I thought that might be an issue.

I believe my RTT is just under 200 lbs. I’m just guessing between the rack and the RTT, I’m close to 400 lbs. I’ll have to weigh it all. I’m a little concerned.

What kind of hardware are you looking for?

Could you build an extention (bolt on/welded?) to put the weight on the floor of the bed, even attached by the bed mounting bolts?

I know "RTT" must mean your luggage... but what are the words used for the acronym?

Roof top tent. And there are a couple of bed racks that tie into the frame rather than the bed rails, keeping the weight off the bedsides. So he could do the same.

I saw one bed rack like that on a local truck, I forget who makes them.

Just the bolts or the little mounting track plates as well?

I have a spare set of bolts laying around if you want them. But really, theyre just m8 or maybe 3/8 bolts from Lowes, etc depending on brand.

@Gunshot-6A, did I see your truck at Slackwater in Sandy yesterday? Was a good looking white 2nd gen with bronze wheels, but I wasn't sure what bed rack you're running.

You can often find @Gunshot-6A parked around here for some reason. I’m not gonna judge.

I love that while waiting in the drive thru you see people working out in the martial arts studio next door. Blizzard > fitness

You know the hot yoga fad?

I do cold yoga. Hold the warrior 1 pose as I house a large dessert. Thank god for stretchy waist bands on yoga apparel.

That'll still probably weigh less than a fiberglass shell with a RTT on top. I see people all over the SLC doing that.

Playing around on my new binos and witnessed a slide on lone peak. Pretty cool to watch it break and slide.

Yep. Got a set of Fury 10x42 LRF binos for a hell of a discount at my last precision rifle match.
