Since this is the "official" superstition meet is there going to be an area roped off or are we kinda first come first spot...kinda spread all about? It would be nice to have all the tacos in one camp! Our lil caravan should be down early enough Fri, not to worried.

I posted this earlier because it's a sign off Wheeler road and it's basically the only real good land mark off that road once you start heading in towards Superstition.

Now... I think everybody should agree on a set location before this thing turns out into a big screw up with people camping at different spots by confusion. Trust me, I've done that before from other forums. With that being said, who's going to make the "official" sign for people to follow?

Well , it's Jakes run as far as I know & he hasn't chimed in here yet.

05OFFROAD ( Mike ) was talking about the mud flats last night, Matt (Reckless taco) was talking to me today about the same place, so I guess I'd throw myself in that direction as well, someone else here also indicated it as a spot as well...

WE HAVE 4 "I's" in favor of the flats, so I guess the best way is to put it to a vote :)notsure:)

Personally, I think thats a great idea. I haven't been in this area in roughly 40 years.

I know in Ocotillo they don't allow perimeter staking or saving camp spots, Matt & I discussed tonight about taking a little prerun down there to check things out, look for good areas that will accomodate a large group in close proximity to the surrounding trails & terrain, but not so close as to have to worry about someone taking a short cut thru camp.

HEY PJ, NEED SOME INPUT FROM YA BUDDY !!!

Is it really windy out there? I'm thinking of creating a barricade of some sort (either a tarp or bring plywood) to protect my tent and PETT from flying away, of course it will also be properly staked down as well.
