Everyday is Easter to me. I eat a dozen plus of eggs a day.

 

Your off to a great start of spoiling her. I did the same thing.

Gotta Peeps story for ya'll...

Back in the day I may, or may not, have worked TDY for 4 months with a Combined Task Force hunting down "bad guys" who eventually were handed over to a well known international court. The Army Major who ran the "RECON/INTEL" guys, naturally, did not always see eye to eye with the Marine Lt Colonel who ran the take down teams. Through my job as the "Transporter" I got pretty tight with the Major. The Major needled the Lt Col endlessly about his coffee of all things; the Lt Col liked those flavored creamers in his coffee. The Major would go on about the Lt Col's penchant for foo-foo coffee, abstractly questioning the Marine's toughness. For security reasons, all the offices in our compound were kept locked. Somehow around Easter time the Lt Col unlocked his door and entered his office to find his coffee pot decorated with no less than 2 dozen purple and pink peeps. Lt Col 'bout went off the deep end, threatening security investigation and what not. The Major simply stared stolidly and stated his innocence. Eventually the Lt Col got over it...

... the Air Force SNCO "Transporter," who also assisted the Op Ctr on weekends due to their manning shortages, may, or may not, have been an accessory to the great Peep coffee pot invasion of 2000.





... did I mention the op ctr held master keys to the entire compound?
