I registered for the DGR - it's Sunday, May 23rd. This will be my third time participating. It's a good cause to donate to and excuse to get out and ride...

My Scorpion jacket came in. Ordered a medium and it fits like a glove. Could have went large for a slightly longer sleeve but didn't want the chest area to be too baggy(I'm 6' 160#). Might try the jacket or on a ride this weekend after helping my cousin with the motorcycle trailer. We got 5 bikes to try and fit for our trip, lol.

I wouldn’t rotate it. My thinking is that the “clean” side will prolong the life of the filter and keep the air flowing better for a longer period of time. The filter getting dirty evenly will just restrict air flow faster. The difference is most likely minimal and won’t be felt by the average rider, but I figure it’s one less thing to tinker with between normal cleaning intervals. Another thing is that the visual contrast of clean vs dirty will give you an indicator of when it’s time to wash the filter.

It's a BEAUTIFUL day here, really wish I wasn't working. Cold commute in (40ish?) but it's supposed to warm up all day. Might have to take the long way back to work after lunch

So, anyone in the market for some slightly used BMW Vario cases for a R1200GS or R1250GS? Right and left side.

Have you posted in ADVRider? Those seem to move pretty fast over there.

Going to soft luggage? I've been eyeing a mosko moto setup for a long ass time and getting rid of my aluminum cases.

I spent pretty much all afternoon with a couple of the bikes. Took an hour-ish and gave the BMW a really thorough wash to get all the winter grime off of it, took off the hippo hands, put the upper half of the barkbuster back on, then changed out my rear brake pads and regreased everything rear axle related. Then hooliganed around on it to dry it out and bed in the brakes. My neighbors gave me some funny looks as I'm doing full panic stops up and down the street, basically.

Then decided to take the Honda out, she hasn't been run in probably six months and needed some love. Stopped at a few places for some pictures and realized eventually that my speedometer wasn't working anymore, unscrewed where the cable enters the speedo and the top two inches of the inner cable fell out into my hands. Whoops. Time to replace that I guess.

Been looking at new bikes. Not really interested in riding the cbr1000 anymore. Local dealership has a 2018 triumph tiger 800 xca with 349mi on it for 10700. I'm gonna go take a peak at it on Thursday.
