Dang it. Forgot Lowes isn't open on Easter Sunday. Walked all the way to the door before I realized it. Explains the empty parking lot.

yup. Funny cuz I'm that guy that is usually a bit put off by how little commerce acknowledges 'holidays', regardless of what your religious beliefs or anything are. But, damn, now that I need something I'm super salty that everything is closed!!!

We’re under the 4k ft tier of the Portland airspace so have to head West but it beats driving 3.5 hours to hurl myself off a mountain when I can just brrrraaaaaaap! and take off 5 mins from home and piss all the neighbors off instead.

Thank you Bill. So far so good.

Got the kid's Hippiemobile clean and gassed up as well as Mama's 'Rolla. Just sitting on the front porch enjoying this absolutely gorgeous day.

Fruit trees are in full bloom and the sky couldn't be any more blue.

Sorry Bill. It's more emotional around the holidays.

I lost my mother right after New Years Day to Cancer.

Thanks Bill! I hope to find a beater with a heater soon, putting way too many miles on it at the moment. Looking at one tomorrow after getting my truck serviced. It's my old friend from high school's mother's car that she's had forever. I even helped put the engine in it back in 2006. It's a little rough around the edges these days, but maybe it'll pan out.
