Got my setup done around beginning of the year. Paired stock Toyota speakers and with an Gladden amp 600.1 (built in Germany and bought through and authorized dealer. I was unable to purchase from their website.)

Amp sits under driver seat right in front of foot air vents.

I do have the full Dynamat interior as well

I've run JL stuff for years and if I didn't have the factory JBL system in my truck, I would have put the JL stealthbox in again - no question. Not a knock against any of the other options listed since I don't have experience with them, but JL stuff is really, really good. Even with a shallow mount setup, they rock pretty hard. A 10" JL unit should give you a great combo of low frequency bass and tight, kick-drum type bass, too. I think you'll happy with it!

hate to poo poo on people
who have money to burn. I too was a sucker. Adding kickers speakers to stock HU does
    nothing! here’s my proof
    https://youtu.be/JB0asRdQOx4

    I benched test two
    stock vs two
    kicker but it’s not all
on video. amping the stock and balancing out the front and rear will be better. maybe maybe add the kicker dash to add some
    treble notes

Adding a good sub is the most impactful thing I've found you can do for a factory system. I've had factory Bose and JBL, and the biggest thing always lacking from the factory is a good sub. Generally, I've found you can turn down the bass, increase the treble a bit and run the sub on a remote gain and get a huge improvement. That being said, I know that is not going to give you audiophile quality sound, but definitely cleaner and the ability to play louder. You might miss some of the musical details by not upgrading the stereo speakers, but unless you are a true audiophile, most probably won't even notice.

There’s a reason if you post Taco Tunes as they actually call themselves (no space between words) that it gets nixed when the post gets posted.

TT is banned from here, even in mention. Avoid!

yeah. i’m not thrilled. the box is well built but extremely tight. no instructions you gotta watch that texas hottie install it on youtube.

    yes it sounds good. i’ll
keep my eye open for stealthbox which isn’t a bad deal considering you’re getting a 10w1-v3.

i ran my tT box with a jl 10w1 and kicker comp r. both sound good but i’m gonna finalize
    with a 10w1v2. sell
    off the rest

Just curious how long you've been running that setup. I called JL, and they recommended no more than 400 watts. in fact they won't warranty the sub for any more than that. Interesting because they don't offer an amp in that range. Seems its either 300 or 500
