Just bought myself my first Tacoma. Looking forward to learning a lot from you guys. First upgrade will be new wheels and a lift.

Welcome! Get some wheels with negative offset so they are flush with the flares. rn it looks a little strange with so much positive offset

So a negative offset would make the wheels stick out a little more? Sorry I’m new to this.

I'm new to this as well. I just went through a wheel and tire change yesterday. It can be very confusing. The negative offset will make the wheels
stick out more than stock wheels do. I'll give you my info, and hopefully it will help some. I have a 2017 double cab Limited, and my goal was to get
a wheel and tire combo that would give it a more aggressive stance. What I chose was BF Goodrich KO 265/70/17, and the wheels are 17x9.5,-18
offset. This brought the tires out to just past the fender. No lift required, but I did have to trim just a very little on the fender well liner due to slight
rubbing when turning sharp. Extreme Terrain is a good place to shop for wheels, and if you enter your truck info, it will show you the wheel on your
exact truck so you can see how it looks.

Thank you. Question, what wheels do you have? They look hella good.

Welcome to TacomaWorld! Love the MGM. I’m a little biased though since mine is the same color!

Interesting someone installed aftermarket fender flares without wheels and tires
