Ever have a trigger spring break? Not sure why, maybe a weak spring? It’s got a new one now, will shoot it again on Sunday and see what happens.

Does it pass a function check and does the trigger have an audible reset upon release? That's some scary stuff for your rifle to fire when chambering a round!

Cycling it while holding the trigger in there is an audible click when letting the trigger go

This is my 5th AR I’ve had/built, never seen one break, maybe I sprung it too much installing it? I would post a pic but the trash ran this morning!

A few weeks ago, the bolt release spring went bad on a AR that is about 25 years old. Never had that happen. I replaced with a premium Armaspec spring & splurged a little and put a Seekins Precision enhanced bolt catch. What a difference! I can Kilmer reload all day and never skip a beat or hurt my hand.

I have a 35 year old Colt Sporter AR15 and put more rounds through that than the rest...all the springs and parts still good.

There is a first time for everything.

I will admit, the evening I was building this lower I felt rushed, pissed, and was not having a good evening. I’m sure I did something to help the spring break probably.

Torqued, sprung, or broke. Definitely didn’t look right. Trashed it, installed a new one, will test it tomorrow.

Wife's new rifle. She loves the optic, never seen a reticle like this one before. It's a micro triangle sitting atop 2 thin black posts. Fiber optic, so it doesn't need a battery. Looks very promising so far. More time behind the trigger will tell...

Yanked it off this AR I picked up this weekend. This thing was loaded to the gills and I got it for a helluva steal, had to drive 2 hours to get it yesterday. I bought it basically for the scope/Larue mount, charging handle, the Magpul Pro BUIS, the Geissele trigger, Magpul sling, and the 500 rounds/20 loaded magazines. I'll sell the rifle as a bare bones AR once I strip it of all the good parts! lol

How much did you get it for? The optic and mount are worth more than the rifle. I have the same optic (and mount) on one of my ARs...its my favorite.

Nice optic. I’m still trying to decide which one I want, but damn those things are expensive!

I got the whole rifle setup for a grand. Definitely worth the 2 hour drive!

The pricing is all over the place Trijicon Accupoints. The 3-9 is the cheapest, 1-4 is next and 1-6 are really expensive.
That 1-4 he got ranges between $700-$1000...depends on where you get it. (So you pretty much got a free rifle) Price also varies on the tritium color.

That Larue mount is $200 and the switch view is about $100

If you email Trijicon, the serial number they will tell you its "born on date"...so you can determine your half life on your tritium. My buddy has one over the 9 years and you can barely notice the difference. The fiber optic is what really powers it, the tritium only kicks in at dusk
