Growing my Junk Removal Business, Bay Area Hauling & Junk Removal

I’ve been doing hauling/junk removal over the past 5 years, on and off. I started taking it more serious at the start of all the shut downs, work got slow, and I knew I needed a back up plan. I started a company, registered with my county, and got insurance.


My current goal is to be able to quit my full time job, and work for myself.
A few months last summer I made more doing junk removal than I made at my full time job in a month period, while working less than 1/4 of the amount. But the winter/colder seasons I was dead slow at times.

We did 10 loads from a hoarder house last year, I don’t have all the pictures but pretty much every room in the house looked like the garage:

Looks like it’s working out for you, I see guys on YouTube renting dump trailers out as basically a portable dumpster.

 

Ive thought about that too, but honestly I’m worried that my trailers would get stolen.

i’ve been getting hired more often for commercial jobs lately people dumping shit at businesses

 

someone dumped this HVAC Compressor it ended up weighing 440 pounds lol.

 

Had an interesting job today! Customer had a trailer full of junk but didn’t have a vehicle they wanted to tow it with.

I thought about offering to just take it to the dump but decided against it due to liability.

 

Smart move there.

Ha. I believe it was the renters fathers. Not sure why they couldn’t use it. From the sounds of it, they have since moved.
