    That's the 04b42 KDMax tune. Glad you like it. It was made from a stock vsc file.
    Glad Shelby and me were able to get you tuned and happy!

    Does the 04b42 differ from the other MT tunes you have out now?

    It should not.
    It is the most up to date version for your truck.
    Just have not done many.

    Just got my Taco flashed today (Easter) and I have an entirely different truck. Power, mpg, and performance seem to be totally affected. Where was my truck the day I drove it off the lot. This is a different truck. Thank you thank you thank you ScottG8R. I was really hesitant to drive 140 miles from Savannah Ga to Jacksonville Fl to give some guy who, I'd never met, 300 bucks to flash KDmax 6.0 on my ride. Scott showed up ready to work and bring my taco up to currency by first flashing my transmission (no extra charge) then putting the KDmax 6.0 flash on my truck and lastly making sure my infotainment system was current. And like I told Scott, "boy did I screw him and KDmax!" I only paid $300 bucks to get my truck to drive brand new and like a truck should drive. KDmax you guys are "THE MAN!" I 'm not sure how to tell someone about the night and day difference as I read every post on this blog. And still I could not comprehend the difference. I turned off my pedal commander going to Jax and got around 19-20 mpg at 78 mph. From Jax to Savannah I got 22-24 mpg, better performance and no slushy tongue hanging out performance. I know the money is a lot but if you want to fall in love with your truck again "DO IT!" It will be money well spent. Papa Renee your product is revolutionary for us who love our taco's. Please don't stop any improvements you may have in the pipeline, although I don't know what you could do to make it any better.

    ROFL....I can't believe you said that....that is exactly the same thing I told Scott on the test drive. Now it's fun to drive and really not that bad on mpg. II'S A TRUCK, NOT A CAR!!! I got the KDmax 6.0 and I can't believe you can improve on it. It was nice to pick the brain and just talk with a fellow Tacomaworld owner about what is going on with our trucks. I did pick his brain on some stuff and got an education in the process. Best money I have spent in a long time and definetly the best 250 miles I've ever driven.

    regular octane version. Have the option to run 93 on the regular tune but didn’t want to be forced to with the 93 tune

    I had 6.0 loaded this past Saturday (thanks @GPatriot) and can say without a doubt this will be the best money spent on a 3rd Gen Tacoma. I was leaning towards 4.88s in the very near future due to heavy E-load 275/70-17s, but that has been pushed aside for the time being. By default I use to engage ETC as soon as I started the truck, no need now. The truck drives like it should and 5th and 6th gear are actually usable now and is a joy to drive (for the first time I might add).

    @PapaRee

    Overall still definitely loving the 04c20 regular LT. It's been good weather so haven't driven the truck much, so I will still plan on a more thorough review in a few weeks after a trip up to the mountains.

    Just curious, understanding you may need to see how things unfold, what long term plans are for things like the new and upcoming versions of VF are capable of adjusting. For example the 4WD capabilities, in-depth transmission controls, etc? Will you convert to the new VF version and dive in to incorporate those types of features, or, more than likely stick to the platform used now (which, frankly, seems like more than most of us could ever ask for compared to the stock behavior).

    Yes, I have been updating and looking forward to new features. I will continue to find new ways to make the tunes better.
    Map switching will hopefully be the next thing to add.

    I've owned Tacos all my life, but I've never driven one with a truly responsive pedal (and I mean right from the getgo) or with such smooth acceleration and shifting until now. I bought my 2021 TRD Off road last fall and immediately flashed it with OVTune's 2.0 tune. Big improvement over stock pedal lag and constant searching for the right gear. Then I read the glowing reviews over PaPARee's KDMAX6.0 tune and decided to take the plunge. And am I glad I did. Wow! The only thing more responsive than PaPaRee promptly answering all my questions; is his KDMAX6.0 Tune. If you want your Taco to run as good as it looks, hit PaPaRee up. You'll be glad you did. Thanx much PaPaRee! 100%
