If you don't mind me asking, what was your round about end total? Cost wise.

Thanks, I’ve tried to make informed mods I guess. I’m only running about inch, inch a half lift. Icon RXT leafs to help with the weight. Full skids, sliders, front bumper. It’s pushing the limits of what I’d like for weight, going to add the OV tune and hopefully that helps with the mountain passes.

The canopy was $3300cnd. Probably about another $1000 for the windows and marine hatch (it’s awesome cause they are designed to hold weight, so we can still sit or lay down on roof). The rest is mostly just time and odds and end. Jackery was a little pricey, slides for the pull out were a few hundred. Fridge, etc.

I try not to think about it too much lol.

Most recent trip to deliver a Grom to the BIL. Took the scenic route home.

    2017 Tacoma OR 4x4 (formerly 2002 OR 4x4, 1995 4x4 4Runner, 1985 4x4 Toy PU) ... and RIP’s (rust in pieces) to a Bronco II 4x4 & S10 Blazer 4x4
We’re rockhounds and do a lot of camping with our rig, the hightop ARE camper has a custom CNC rack I designed to match the Prinsu up front, thats a standard Smittybuilt RTT that is heavy and taller than a hard shell wedge, but they have room for 3 inside... a bit of a tradeoff with gas mileage but not much. I also put a custom slideout platform that makes a 6.5’ long bed platform for the summer months when we can sleep with the tailgate open. It could sleep 4 adults with the RTT that way, but we usually pack too much gear in the bed for that.

Well damn dude, like i said super jealous. My obvious dream set up would be like how they had that double cab Habitat set up on Team Overland when they drove the entire western regious starting from below cali all the way to the most northern point of Alaska. That would be a pretty amazing adventure, or if there was a way to bring the truck to Europe.

Our hope for the summer is to go coast to coast in Canada and back through the US if they open the boarder. If not we will just stick to Canada.

I was planning on doing the same this for this coming summer. Than we learned that we are expecting our first, so our priorities on spending have changed...
