Wondering the same thing. I'm finding them for about $680 per side.

I'm assuming they're plug and play and don't need an additional harness or adapter?

Cardi has some for $300 each. I may have read it wrong. I put the year as 2020. I don't have any specifics.

If you get it as an add-on, you pay $500 ish. If you want them after the fact, you pay triple.

Yeah, if you're looking for aftermarket headlights of any decent quality it's pretty much just the Morimotos, but they aren't cheap!

Mods? We don't need no stinking mods.
Hold out for one with OEM LED headlights. They are amazing.

I literally get giddy whenever I drive at night or early in the morning because the LED lights are that f***ing awesome.

The ultra is the eye of megatron that was tested, I also have them and they are indeed a big improvement over stock, See below.....

    Continued LED Output Testing
There are many LEDs tested in this post.

      • The highest output intensity LEDs tested thus far are the OEM LED headlight assemblies covered here. They have the highest intensity legal low beam and the highest intensity high beam, better than Morimoto and better than stock with upgraded bulbs.
      • The best performing replacement LEDs by far are the Hikari Ultras covered in this post, and the Morimoto 2stroke 3.0s covered here. These have better focus and output intensity than the competition. They are the only replacement LEDs I would recommend. Note they are outperformed by the best halogen performance upgrades. The Morimotos have a better design and better focus than Hikari, but the Hikaris are slightly higher in output.

I believe it's the "newer version", at least that's the bulb set his Amazon link went to. They may be Hikari Ultra and "Eye of Megatron" may just be the cute name they put on the box. (I just looked, and it is the Hikari Ultra.) 10/10 would recommend. And contrary to popular belief in that thread, my truck neither burst into flames nor did I have a head-on collision with another driver just because I installed them into projector housings. The cutoff line and hotspots are exactly what I had with the stock H11 bulbs, except these are a pleasing white light not yellow like my first Tacoma in 1998 had.

    This is the item FYI:

No, you definitely need a new harness. The OEM LED housings have one connection only, which then needs to be pigtailed out to connect to all of your stock wiring. You can buy from a member on here.IMG_9456 (1).jpg

Don't really have access to the new OEM LED lights in Canada to compare, but I wouldn't buy a new truck over it..

Here's my Amazon LED bulbs in the stock projector housing. Litterally 40$ for a pair of bulbs (x2 for low & high beam).
