I am not worried about dying. I have lived a good life. Opened up exhaust on a V8 sounds so good in the throttle I will just be getting pulled over a lot. BTDT with the Z4 I had.

Been up to 145mph on 4 wheels, 140(ish) mph on 2 and 130mph with zero wheels.

BTDT. Broken old body can’t hold the “Monkey fucking a football” position long anymore. Hell, my knees hurt on my BMW R1200RT after a few hours these days.

 

You can get a trike.. I guess some places its considered a bike, but I wouldnt wave at you..

Less than 4 wheels and no roof so it is considered a motorcycle. But hard pass. If I was so infirm I could t ride a bike I would just get a convertible. Hence looking at a Miata, or Goldwing.

 

Yeah, my fun run-in with Troopers was clocked at 131 in a 55, 17 yrs. old.

Speaking of high speed runs, I am assuming the Tacoma that served as a speed bump for this rider wasn’t owned by anyone here. These days the kid would have walked in the charge but died running from someone who wasn’t even chasing him.

Not in Maryland.. dont need a motorcycle license. Or at least for the Slingshots.

So youre looking for a tiny sports car or a v6 couch?

 

No moto license for Slingshot in Va. steering wheel and sitting IN vs ASTRIDE. CanAm Spyder needs a moto license. Spyder can use HOV but Slingshot cannot.

Ive done 155 in 2 cars and 180 in 1. I can't imagine doing it on a bike.
