I posted earlier a while back but heres an update on my 97. Its a v6 auto power everything 4wd with 180k on her. Here she is wrapped in cheetah wraps gloss black metallic by yours truly.

 

Hey everyone, my 1st post on TW forum. I have a 1995.5 LX 4wd. Ordered it in Feb 1995 and recieved it new in April 1995. Had 91 miles, It was delivered to Rocklin instead of Vacaville, CA. Has 361k now. It's has been through a lot with me. And through all those miles I have only had it towed twice ever. I've done mods through the years. When you're a 25 year old kid you're always looking to "make things better"...which usually turns out less than good. Now I'm 51 and all I want to do is preserve it.

 

Very nice. What month is on the sticker. Does it have Manual hubs or auto. What transmission 5-speed or auto?

 

Its has Manual Hub, 5 spd MT, options included, AC, cruise control, PS, PW, PL, AM/FM w/ cassette, chrome bumpers, wheel arch trim, mud flaps, and the 6 spoke aluminum wheels with 31x10.5x15r. Here are a few more pics and b elow is my door sticker...

Here is an update as of April. I got new wheels and tires. Opted for the Kumho Road Venture AT51s. The BFGs are over priced and over rated in my opinion. Love these tires. Also I put them on the 4Runner Limited wheels.

 

4/95 SX 4x4 236k AT MH 2nd owner. Uncle was original owner before he moved. Was garage kept when he had it. I drove it for college a few years, father drove for work a few years, then my brother drove it for college a few years, then no one drove it a few years, now I’m driving it hopefully a few more years

Man there are some clean 95's in here. I was practically given an old hunting truck. The plan is to drop some money on her, since I don't really have anything in it, and make it my daily driver. I'm seriously considering swapping out the 300k 3.4 with one of those jdm motors. To embarrassed to post any glamour shots just yet but here is my door sticker.

 

There is no bad Tacoma if it's not dead yet. Remember what Top Gear did to Hilux - and after all that they placed it on a display.

 

I'm not sure what page my 95 is on... It doesn't look pretty but it runs great. I'm proud and happy to have it either way. Once I got my 2015 I knew there was noway I was getting rid of the 19 95. I'd rather give it to a friend or family in need.

Can't really tell in the picture but the paint is faded and oxidized on most panels and clear coat is peeling bad. Lots of hail damage but runs awesome. Oh and dents on both rear panels

 

How about one from a distance lol
