My bed mat finally arrived today, so I got it tossed in the back. It isn't quite as comfortable to crawl on as I was hoping, but still better than the bare bed.

OEM? I need to get one. Comfort aside, probably nice that shit doesn’t slide around as much.

They don’t disable it permanently- they turn it off in the settings and change the setting in techstream to remember the previous setting on restart. Nothing stopping you from turning it back on if you choose (they just won’t be liable obviously, which was the point)

This reminds me of the time a customer called us out for repair work. Asked him to move his vehicle and this dipshit parks in front of/LITERALLY ON his garage door, and as I do my work his bumper is scraped… he cried fowl. I’d of told his da to pound sand!

Late night for me tonight. Thunder was booming outside, so I checked the weather... looks like 50mph winds and 1/2 inch hail possible tonight. So just spent the last 20 minutes putting my hail kit on the truck in the driveway. Its just double layered moving blankets on the hood and roof, then single layered laying over the doors, bed, and fenders, then its all covered with a car cover and wrapped with straps to keep it in place.

Its always nice to have enough notice that I can get the covers on before the storm hits.

I really need to invest in one of those real hail covers eventually.

Sorry. No deep, discounted items today @baldbeardedtaco

@DJFriar when I bought my mat 2 years ago, I didn't have a bed cover on at the time.

At the time, I was home visiting my mom and took advantage of the shade under the carport to wash my truck. However, the truck has been sitting out in the hot, Mississippi sun. The bed mat BURNED my hands when I touched it wash the bed out. Suffice it to say, I learned have a rag or something to cover my hands the next time.

Or a basic carport? They probably sell ones you can put together yourself. I need a garage :frusty:

i bought the real door jammers (whatever there called), was bored and needed more mod stock pile in the cabinet. I planned on painting satin black instead of the gloss but never got around to it yet- I have a makeshift paint booth in my garage that is half done which was/is the delay. Not sure I’d even use them but maybe

Wish I could do a carport, but my driveway is only 2 car lengths long, and 2/3s of that is a hill. You can see in these pictures that the ass of the truck hangs over the break in the hill. My garage has a 1973 dodge challenger and 1991 BMW convertible, so I cant park in there either :(

I need to win the lotto so I can extend my garage back another 15 feet.

Interest charges by day so paying half in advance saves 15 +/- days of interest… just my guess

My work partner bought a Toyota Highlander back a few months ago due to a growing family. She has it set up where she pays half of as you described. And last half in later in the month (basically 2nd pay check). Something about making half payments beats out the interest. Not sure of the logic of it, but if it works, so be it. :notsure:

I got it off Ebay. And the supplier was none other than BAM itself. The trade offs are, BAM has "free" shipping via Ebay. Their own website charges shipping. Ebay charges sales tax. BAM's site doesn't (which if you are in Ohio, it might since that is where they are located). Honestly, Ebay was about $5-6 cheaper.

You can use "minus20" to knock off 20% of shipping on BAM's own site. It's not a whole lot, but every bit counts.

This is the link I got mine from on Ebay:

Thanks. I’m always really paranoid about getting wiring routed well and sealed up. Nothing worse than electrical issues! Especially when a little extra time could prevent it

That is a really nice looking Honda. I'd like to have that in my shop. As I grew up, I went through the Honda series of bikes, 90 (CL), 175, 350, 450, 750. Nice to see the Trail 90.

I see the mirrors are missing but aside from that it looks to be in exceptionally good condition.
