LOL, been there, done that. Wet compass just spins, inertials do the same (gotta admit this was 35+ years ago.). Time/turn and basic dead reckoning until you got below 89N.

Getting old sucks. I spent the weekend finishing up my home office. I had replaced the old girly wallpaper that has been there for 20 years since I moved in with something more to my liking. I added an LED light strip 8 foot high up where the wallpaper ended but didn't quite like the bare LEDs. I decided to match the shelves I made with a stained pine frame around the LEDs and used strips of florescent light covers to disperse the light.

It involved a lot of up and down the ladder and bending down to cut the wood. I had it almost finished but I needed to do something to make the corners look better. I added 3/4" square wood to hide the ends. I didn't want to nail them as it might split the wood so I glued them in place and held it with blue tape.

Sunday night I had put everything away and the glue way dry so I went to remove the tape with a step stool instead of a ladder. I reached up high to remove the tape. I felt a sharp jolt on my neck as I reached up and felt a short circuit as my equilibrium shut off. (I felt dizzy). The next two corners were fine but it happened again on the last corner.

That's not right but I ignored it and went on as usual. This morning as I got up for work it happened again when I got out of bed and stood up. OK that is not right.

After many hours in urgent care I just over did it and besides being dehydrated I have inflated the disks in my neck. I have felt pain but never dizziness like that.

Oh well, more meds and get my second covid shot in the morning. At least I have a week off to get better.

What I was doing. The computer with the LED strip.

    What I added to it.

I know it's not everyone's taste but I like it.
