Anybody watch the news early this morning today? One out of the four shootings in West Phila that happened last night was a Black Toyota Tacoma. It was littered with bullets. Crazy times....

Black 3rd generation and looked to be SR-5. It was non scooped with the steel wheels. I saw the truck pic for about 2 seconds.

    Thank you!

Thank you! Yeah I’m really debating on just buying an SR/SR5 and essentially doing everything myself or buying an OFF - ROAD and going lighter so to speak.

Buy the interior you want, then upgrade the suspension aftermarket.

IMO the suspension is such a small difference between the models. The locker and tech you get with the OR package is a lot of difficult/expensive to modify components.

    This:
But also there are a few other exterior details like lights, turn signals, dlr... If you care about details like that.

Some of the guys that are serious with off-roading would pass on Toyota's e-locker, they would regear an install air lockers, etc...

I think for occasional trips e-locker accompanied with A-track is quite sufficient, at least for me. But then again I'm afraid to run black trails to avoid body damage...

The 6K difference would be so much better spent on a real MT suspension and aftermarket locker with gears. The factory locker is great, but you'll still need gears down the road.

I appreciate it. I certainly don’t mind driving. I’ve got to secure the parts first, both kits are out of stock on Headstrong so I’ll have to look around. Once I have more of a plan I’ll be reaching out
