355mm BIG BRAKE KIT?

I just wanted to share that there is a possible BBK (big brake kit) available for anyone who is interested. I work for this company called Racingbrake (pretty well known in other popular tracking/racing communities) and we have this BBK, designed for the 00-06 Tundras that's 355mm with a 4 pot caliper. When you say 17s will clear it is that 17" steel wheels or only alloys?

 

No, the point for the thread I guess was to see if anyone would want to try it. (I currently can not afford it )
This is for the front.
As for replacing the master cylinder, I don't think you have to. It is still a 4 piston caliper setup.
This will definitely give you a better brake feel.
What I can do is add the "wheel fitment template" to the link. (give me 24hrs.)

Which reminds me. Would anyone be interested in just a caliper upgrade? I wouldn't mind keeping my ~298mm rotors but with a good aftermarket caliper.
Let me know! If I can get enough ppl interested I can convince my boss (the engineer) to develop an adapter for us!

Trust me, I wouldn't have that Autozone rotor if I was well off in the company.
I would have gone with the 2pc rotors we offer.

Very true. But you never know who will be interested.
That's why I suggested the caliper upgrade. it would still be like $1k though, which I believe would be worth it.
There's also the Tundra retrofit, which is a straight swap. 318mm rotor (I believe)

I thought about it but we don't make that brake pad shape.
The ss lines made a good enough difference.

 

Yeah I went with the 13WL Tundra brake swap. I probably spent around $500-$600. I could have spent a lot less if I didn't buy OEM Toyota brake pads and rotors. It was definitely a huge improvement.

$1000 for a 355mm BBK would be pretty good. I spent $1400 on my other car for 345mm .

 

Where did you get the 13WL? OEM? And what rims do you have?

(I'll see what I can do about that price) That kit was developed like 2yrs ago and we have sold 1 (that I know of)
I just want to see one on a Taco.

 

I got them reman from Napa. They took my old calipers as cores so I ended up paying like $60 a caliper. I'm using the stock "Snowflake" 16 inch wheels.

I'm not sure I could use those because I don't have any intention of going 17 inch wheels as I just bought some new wheels and tires lol.

But $3000 is a huge chunk of money for just a brake swap. I realize a lot of r&d goes into it, but I don't see your average guy buying them at that price.

Here's a BBK I found when I did the Tundra swap on my Tacoma. I didn't go with this kit because of cost but this is something comparable to OP's post. Even though it's from StopTech, these are the same calipers TRD uses on the newer trucks.
