Ok, quite a while back I saw a thread where someone was selling a 3D printed kit for waterproofing the bed cabbies. Seems like it was posted in the gen 2 forum, but I'm not sure. I've tried several differently worded searches, but have not been able to find it. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks!

This works too, just clean up the holes and apply.

What's the deal with doing it separately? Because it's too thick to reinstall if they're both on at the same time?

I can confirm if you fill out the form linked above the guy will reach out to you. I did this about a month ago and was able to get my order placed that way. Received them and install was super easy.

The bottom caps go over the hole in the cubby, but they are also meant to go over a lip on the cutout. You can only cover the lip after the cubby is back in it’s place.

That's right. The top holes (for the latches) are only accessible when the cubby is out of its position. So you pull the cubby out, put the top caps on, and slide it back. (There's not enough room in the cutout to slide the cubby in when you have both the top and bottom caps in place.) The only thing you can do then is to install the bottom caps from underneath the truck.

It’s pretty easy to get to the bottom. I installed the kit on two cubbies, and put silicone around all of the cubby caps and it only took like 30 minutes.
