I bet its something broken like a ball joint or something, and the ticking,,, well that could be maybe you knocked like the timing sensor or cam sensor loose, and the heater core probably knocked some electrical component loose, maybe when you hit you sshorted something out..... but the shaking and left turn i bet is something on your bushings, like a ball joint, a-arn to frame bushings ect. or a bent rim even

Thanks to above your here though

ahhh.. that sucks... well I called and they dont have em anyways.. so I actually called Durango and asked if I'll need chains... and they said no.. but a 4x4 isn't a bad idea... so I think i'm good.. in CA if the snow is at a certain level of "danger" there's a chain law... CO doesn't have this chain law I guess.. so nevermind :) hopefully I don't drive off a cliff!!! :)))) i'm soooo excited!! I can't wait... speaking of offroading... dude in a white chevy is doing donuts right in front of my house.. retard... it's not snowy enough to have fun!! lol

the chevy should have been a instant notification of a retard driving :) im sure you will be fine on the road just make sure your tires are good, pressure, tread etc.. i drove a 08 civic si through durangos million dollar pass 3years ago, road where snow packed and icy but i made it, nonetheless i was the only car besides the outbacks and other awd's in the area, i remember passing through and people pointing i was like that's right B*&%$#s i can drive in the snow!

i tried to head up into the jemez over the weekend but they have nearly every road closed kinda sucked

So finally back in ABQ. So we spent the day at the dealership until about 2 in the afternoon. Turns out it wad the tie rod ends on both sides. The left was bent and loose as well as the bashing on it exploded. The right was not as bad. So that would also explain the truck feeling weird when turning left. So after about 800 bucks  and 7hrs we got 4 new ends and back on the road. So we got in to the house at 3ish this morning. :(

And you guys might say, 800 bucks holy shit!!!!! All we have to pay is 100. USAA insurance is paying the rest.:D

By the way is anyone selling any good yellow fogs? I need 2, maybe 4-5in round, fogs and then 2, 4-5in round driving beam lights. I have a mod idea but I need the lights first. And it is something I haven't seen on here so it will be a first.

Yeah, I'd like to see some pictures. Plus did you cut the body all the way or did you leave the pinch weld at the back corner alone? Do you just have a raw edge hanging down? Is it hidden by the bumper, etc.? What's going on up the the inner wheel well/flare area? I'm thinking I'll cut the body at the bottom of the fold mid panel. I'll probably have the bumper overlap that fold to hide the cut. It should look pretty cool if I do it right. IDK though. Still thinking. Any input is appreciated.

I would love to make you bumpers but I can't even seem to make myself bumpers in a timely fashion. I'm not saying I won't/can't, just that you probably shouldn't hold your breath either. I've still got to make my new rear one, which will only take a few weeks since I've already done it once. Then I'm making my front. I'll probably largely copy Relentless's front bumper. Its badass! On a side note, I can't say I'm a big fan of his new rear bumper. Its a little too space shippy for my taste. I'm sure its well built and strong, my preference just isn't falling in love with the styling.

Johnathan, glad you made it through the nightmare. All of my nightmare-ish road trips (two or three) have happened during Christmas break. I think its jinxed.

Happy New Year!!!! Anybody puked yet today?:puke: If you haven't, just imagine the smell of appletinis and ashtrays. There you go, its ok, you'll feel better in a minute.

your that close to hell???? lol jk. seriously bro, but look, on the real..... PRICE THINGS OUT...EVEN PRICE THEM OUT FROM T.U. LIKE I SAID BEFORE, on certain things they MAY be able to get a good price, BUT I WILL STILL TRY THE BEST TO GO THROUGH DESERT RAT.

T.U. quoted me like $1250 to make a rear bumper like the Pro Armor one.

I think the best insight to their business model is this...

as quoted from a recent news article.... they are concentrating on the "movie vehicle" supply business.....

that means more and more the little guy like you and me mean didly squat to them.
