C'mon let's go! It's going to be getting pretty hot out there soon, so fall would probably be the next opportunity.

New job? Are you still working for the concrete company?

Next time I'll definitely check out the state park. Isn't there some trail to the top of a mountain that you have to get a permit or something?

Been a while boys! So I got my Taco in November and hopped into the tacoworld. On January 2nd someone broke in and stole my truck. The police found it behind Topps brewery in Mckinney and it was beat up :crapstorm:. I took it to pat lobbs toyota mckinney and they gave me a good deal letting me trade my poor taco in. It was one of the saddest days of my life. But now I sit here in my brand new 2020 Taco TRD Off Road spirits renewed!!!

Sorry for what you had to go through; but glad to see there was a silver lining to the story! Sounds like Pat Lobbs Toyota treated you well; I almost purchased mine from them.

Christmas Mountain - it's private property, so yeah, but it's as easy as calling a couple days ahead and making sure another group hasn't booked it already. It's not in the park, though. Near Terlingua.

There's also the "Road to Nowhere" in the state park, but no permit is needed for that.

I moved from there last year too. Only difference is I do not own a Tacoma anymore. Needed something I could flat tow behind my RV.

Nice! What part are you from? I see myself running into the same issue down the road. What did you trade into?

Nope, still concrete! They’ve got a massive windfarm going in over there.

For the state park try and get Guale 2 for a remote site. Its great! at least if not not really windy since you have no protection.

I will 2nd Guale 2 for the views. It is very remote and if you want to explore a lot of the park its a little out of the way. Guale 1 is also a cool spot and a little more protected.
