    1991 Land Cruiser; Inspection stickers expired in October 2019, and it's obviously in a state of disassembly, so I'm guessing it's an ongoing project...

    @Speedytech7

    Saw this at the dealer when I went to pick up a part today; 1996 Lexus LX450! It has Maryland plates, so I'm guessing they had to make an unscheduled stop at the dealer for something...

    Don't see a lot of 450s, the lexus variety is rare around here. That thing needs a polish bad haha, but look in good condition, all of the side cladding is still there.

    They were triple-locked too, right?

    Very, very, rarely. The K294 option code is hardly every found in the Lexus models, you'd have to order it like that and many more luxury focused buyers probably didn't care.

    I have a 1997 Land Cruiser brochure, and it says the center locking diff was standard, but the front and rear were options...

    yeah all USDM 80 series have a center locking diff standard, but the front and rear were the K294 option code.

    I thought they were standard until I read it in that brochure; How much extra was it, and how common is it?

    Total off the cuff estimation since no real numbers exist, but 1 in 8, 80 series is probably triple locked. Adds roughly 3.5-4k to value used, I wasn't even born when my 80 was built so couldn't tell ya what it cost new haha

    Yessir, but the bimmer is being a turd and taking all my extra cash right now cause it had a couple injectors fail :/ You don't want that mess, it's fun when it runs though haha.

    Speaking of which, I did a side job photographing my friend's 2017 BMW M3 and I'm just wrapping up the post processing on the photos now. I'll post em up in your euro car thread soon

    I'm just curious to know what you do for a living where you can afford to insure three vehicles! I could afford two vehicles right now, but I want to save up for a house!

    I'm in IT, right now I work for two companies. One is a consulting gig, the other is a day job for a school district (state benefits are baller yo). My insurance really isn't that bad either, it's $745 every 6mo right now thanks to a clean driving record and decent multi vehicle policy. I too am in the process of finding a house. Right now renting isn't bad thankfully and I have room for my beaters.
