Oh, plenty but not on the kit's end. I went to tear down the existing suspension one evening after work, expecting to be done in a few hours, to find that the fourth bolt I touched was seized and took two additional evenings to get out. lol

As far as the kit goes, it was very straight forward. The locating holes put everything where it should be, or close to it. You may just need to finesse the kit for your particular vehicle. My truck has been in a wreck AND I like to drive spirited. If I can get this kit to fit onto my truck, it'll work with any frame out there.

I think the most difficult part was figuring out what hardware goes where. The work instructions on the JD Fab website were helpful but lacked some key information for someone who didn't design the kit and had a large bag of random hardware. Anyone make those work instructions for the competition yet?

    Awesome!

I've been trying to document everything as I go through it all and once I get the rest of the parts (shocks, cmon) I was planning on doing a pretty detailed instruction set with pictures. I'll zip it into a pdf and send it to whoever wants it, not that I'm an expert or anything.

My calibrated eyeball says about 2"x2" probably in the realm of 3/16 wall.

It's was a pretty close estimate. I have 2"x2"x.25" in my garage for my sliders so I was just basing it off that.

I used 1.5” so there was enough room for the tabs/bolts I added to the winch

Makes sense. My primary concern was the clearance on the condenser. 2" was too close for comfort when eyeballing for body deflection.

Comparing Harry’s pics to mine it looks like his is a smidge higher than mine, but I have 2” and no issues with clearance. My truck is in some pretty twisty situations. Only sharing as another data point.

2” would work but the way I mounted the bumper made getting the bolts in a nightmare

I have too much shit up front. Intercoolers and such. I need to do this when I install my new core support later this year.
