we can save this for another thread to prevent derailing this from the original topic but his are no different besides his fancy upper link and bump cans. Just another company the die hard Toyota guys have pumped for years but when you talk to actual users/people who have installed the stuff, they had multiple issues/ problems.

On the other note, when do we start mentioning the fact that marlin has similar business practices to now two Toyota based companies and has been doing it for years and years? How much has marlin collected in pre orders/back order for taco boxes and their Rclt kit? Couple 100k? More?

When do consumers start going else where and stop handing over thousands of dollars to companies with known issues and have missed multiple deadlines yet continue to take thousands of dollars from consumers on products they know they don’t have in stock or plan on having for months and months?

It's been derailed when folks started tagging vendors who didn't steal their money or company who have similar business practice.

I have a job currently and no reason for me to start a side hustle and get overwhelmed with orders and be pushed beyond what i can do.

And there’s already great alternatives to all these companies. Rumors/people trying to uphold an image by saying they have a “superior” product vs having the competitions product just cause the internet told them one is better is the issue.

That's the issue. Lots of complaints from users, yet no one dare to take the challenge head on to better the Toyota offroad community.

All vendors I bought parts from haven't provide 100% service. Hell, even my local Toyota dealer lied and have rob me.

I'm not complaining nor am I starting one. All I'm saying is, there's not that many vendors for the Toyota enthusiasts. Vendor know customers will complain but they will continue to come back and make purchases. We're not in the Jeep group where there's a bunch of vendors selling slightly different designed parts and can choose what we really want to run.

I'm not here to defend the crook who stole from his customer.

I haven’t met a Toyota dealership that doesn’t lie and try to rob you lol. Most are more incompetent than the grease monkeys at jiffy lube.

I mean..... You're wrong. There are hundreds of vendors that cater to Toyota enthusiasts. I would argue that the tacoma is the second most supported vehicle in the aftermarket second only to the Jeep Wrangler.

This forum tends to be one massive dumpster fire and I've always called it Pirate Lite with less Coors but a little more White Claw. And it's because of stupid posts like this. Do you even understand what goes into making custom brackets by hand for specific vehicles and making sure the geometry is correct? Brian's kits aren't your typical $25 Ruffstuff/Ballistic/Barnes brackets with a logo cut into them.

But yes, let's complain about expensive parts because we don't understand the work that goes into making them. What do I know? I'm just another die hard Toyota guys that pumps 4WU because he's the only one to ever build a 3-link kit for the 80 series Land Cruiser.

it’s alright. I know nothing. I’m just an internet fabricator and steal all my pictures of my truck from someone else. And I buy everything. I don’t make anything. Everything on my truck was bought and bolted on :)

Like who? If I'm in a turd gen wanting a crawlbox, how many vendors offer that option? Of course there's hundred of vendors, all selling the same cr@p from 1 main supplier. What difference does it make to buy from vendor A when vendor B also list them. I wouldn't call it hundreds of vendor, there's 100 vendor selling the same identical item.

:rofl:I had something typed out but changed my mind.

I don’t know you. And you don’t know me.

I reached out with questions and measurements and got the run around the entire time I felt. I talked to guys who have used your kits and not that they were unhappy but that they had to modify stuff. For what it cost, I made my own brackets/modified ones I got for a fraction of the cost and used the saved money on other places or gas and I’ll leave it at that.

And the pictures I was asking for were simple. Ride height with shock shaft for uptravel and any frame modification and how much of a 14 in shock is used in down travel. I was having issues with steering binding but I resolved it.

This thread is about RST and the shit Wyatt did to fuck over a bunch of people. No need for it to devolve into a pissing match (yeah, it's TW and everything on an internet forum turns into a dumpster fire normally)....
