OK. I live close to olathe but the two times I bought it was from Molle once and Crown the second. Both have me a deal much better than Olathe.

I called my salesman and he said he'll try. And then called back a day later and said it has "already been labeled for production". It's less than a month before it's scheduled to be finished, so it was kindof a long shot I think.

    MSRP: $39,432
    Dealer Discount: $1,809
    Incentives: $1,000

    Price Paid: $36,623

Which is only about $3k more than the other local dealerships with no 2021's in stock are asking for 2018's with 30k mi. Add to that the fact they gave me $2100 more for my trade than anywhere else was offering and buying new became a no brainer.

I am in SoCal and put a $500 deposit on a 2021 TRD Sport 4x4 DBCB w/leather interior. The dealer told me because of supply that they aren't going below MSRP. Should I just wait until the supply issues are fixed or am I lucky that I was able to order one? Would've liked to have agreed on 2k below MSRP

Today I traded my 2016 TRD sport 5ft bed 4x4 with 35000 miles, for a 2021 TRD sport 6ft bed 4x4. The dealer gave my truck a 30k appraisal and I added another 7400 on top to to leave at 37400. Tampa, FL.

Seemed like a good deal to me since my truck had rust issues from salt water and minor paint dings here and there.

You are guaranteed $500 off for military. If a dealer is saying no to that I'd be at lost for words.
I would also give Costco auto program a shot.

I agree, if you look up a few posts on this thread, I was able to get 6.3% off msrp through costco auto program. It's an easy process, costco has to "verify" the dealers discount before its approved. I think in this market you're going to have a hard time getting a dealer down on price otherwise. If you don't have a costco membership.. its worth it just for this truck.

I've been eyeballing Tacoma's for about a year. Initially I thought I'd pick up a '20 when the the '21's came out. Now I'm wondering what the hot new color will be for '22 as I don't see the market turning to the buyer's favor anytime soon. Silver lining, I don't need another vehicle right now, thank goodness.

I'm a patient soul, but I don't think I'll make it to 2024. My 15 year old BMW probably will, but I don't think I can hold out that long.

I just put a deposit down on a 2021 Cement TRD Offroad.

MSRP on it was $43,921. It has the technology package, leather, sunroof etc.
    I added on:
    Undercoating $189
    Roof Rack $550

The dealer gave me $500 off MSRP and I also had a Trade of an 07 SRS 4 Runner with 185k. It has dead A/C, a tire light on and needed brakes, ball joints. They gave me $5,500 for it. Probably not the best deal but the truck is exactly what I wanted and was on the lot and didn't have to wait.

If it's not too late, you might want to save yourself a couple hundred bucks and decline the undercoating. Commonly discussed issue of exacerbating the rusting of the frame due to moisture caught under the coating.
