I have a degree in English and American History. I spent most of my college and post college life reading and writing.

Comedian Dan Soder is in that show...He has an episode where he discusses shorting and what not...He memorized the lines but has ZERO idea wtf he was talking about in real life and it was hilarious to hear him try to explain it in real life...

My wife is Australian by birth. Bill Bryson is mandatory reading for me. lol

I've never read anything by Meloy. I'll check it out.

If you like science lit similar to Silent Spring you should read Micheal Pollan. He's pretty famous for The Omnivores Delimma which is so so. His latest book How to Change Your Mind is one of the best non-fiction books I've read in the last 5 years. It's even better if you have some personal experience with the things the book is about. Which I might. lol

I was gonna add Pollan to my list but figured he was too mainstream at this point. I've read all the Pollan books, and I really enjoyed "How to Change your Mind"

As a side note. It's making my brain twitch using quotations on book titles. They should all be underlined. But hey, I can adapt to the common referencing at this point.

I'm more than happy to overlook minor grammatical errors for people that actually read books.

A favorite of mine is the misuse of THEN and THAN...and the butchering of language that goes with it...

Someone means to write "I'm picking $GME stock then that one..."

and reply with "Then that one what? Don't leave me hanging"

Oh and being from MA....people calling a Drawer a "Draw" and not realizing that's not what it is...even when leaving a note "I put your keys in the draw"

So the word of a play on $SOS has caused a price spike...
    Likelihood of a P&D for the options...hmmm...

    And for the $GTii players...
A hedgie, VERT, put out FUD report yesterday that there was a cash buyout/share offering in the works to settle short shares of $GTii...at the same time they dump short shares...stock drops...
So $GTii goes to the unprecedented move of issuing a press release to say "Um, no, that isn't happening, cover your shorts fucko"
