How much is this costing people to be installed by dealerships? Mine gave me an off the cuff quote of $2500. They had just installed their first OEM a week prior although they have installed other lifts as well.

On Toyota Canada's website, it displays the cost of the kit with install.

    The price is $3,129.68 CAD.

In USD that is about $2,481.01

Figured I'd update but my dealer said they would do the lift kits on 4x2s. 2050 out the door

Truck and stance looks great. Will soon be time for new rubber! Did you have Clamshell bushing installed and/or did dealership even mention it. I only ask because some are very lucky in that their dealership is offering to install non-OEM bushing.

I asked them about doing and they claim they never had an issue. They have 2 new ones on the lot with Pro comp 3in front spacers. Said do those all the time and never had one come back for vibrations. I haven't felt any so far. Have about 50 miles on it since.

I’ve had mine for about two weeks. Had it done on a Wednesday, was in Death Valley by Saturday. (6 hour drive). Went over hunter mountain to racetrack playa, across to the crater. Pretty rough roads, then on to Titus canyon. 13 gallons of water, 50qt Engel cooler, various camping gear. One adult, two children. Def gave the suspension a full workout. No vibrations so far...

Yea thats a bit ridiculous, but I feel like its the same with anything, if they find the loophole to not cover the issue.....

I want to know what dealers are doing the clamshell bushing, besides the Utah one!

This is a great review. It's the "check" process I go through after every lift I install.

Another excellent point! This is what I did when I installed the 5100s on my 1st gen.

Guys with more experience than me have recommended many times over to avoid using a block. It serves no function other than slightly increase ride height...at the expense of ride quality. A suspension lift is more functional.

Diff drop may or may not make that big of a difference. I have done it mainly because it's inexpensive and easy to install. It likely won't help or hurt your needle bearing situation. It can, however, very possibly help your CV angles such that your boots won't run (friction causes premature failure of the boot). IMO: Do both diff drop and bearing/bushing swap.

It’s the piece that covers the sensor for protection. It’s a must have but technically you probably could run without it. I wouldn’t.

sensor? like a safety sensor for parking? I don't think I have a sensor on mine. Mine is a 2016 TRD Sport.
