Doesn’t have to be SEA as long as it's left handed and you hold it in your right hand.

Hey, at that stage I am looking for solutions, not a properly formed answer to a specific question.

    And, hammer is SAE.... ;)

I has to re-acquaint myself through the internet when my grandson was doing remote work because he wasn't paying attention to it at all and I didn't want to see Fs (or Es, or whatever they use today) on his report card.

    See? You need math

Oddly I do use some algebra stuff in my work. Not often but it comes up from time to time.

Took Mechanical Engineering in college. was a very good draftsman(way before CAD) but sucked at math. tech calculus kicked my butt. so i went to drafting and physics then to Stickleys to drink beer and run the foozball table.

Observational analysis. When the front wheel comes off the ground, or the wing tip hits the ground, then adjust the load. :D

JK, I know there is just a 'bit' more complexity to it.

I just checked my grandson's math score online. He got 12/13. Hallelujah. That's the best he's done in awhile. I guess all the study time paid off. In addition to principles of algebra questions they had to do long division problems as well and, unfortunately, the boy never learned his times tables very well. I tried to teach him some tricks, such as estimating the quotient when dividing. Hell, I even told him to just do the multiplication tables on his fingers if necessary, whatever it takes.

My way of solving math problems is if it can't be solved by using simple math on a calculator then let someone else figure it out

My grandson is a firm believer in the calculator. One more reason he says he doesn't need to learn complicated math. To be honest, he is right. These calculators can figure it all out with little effort.

I was lost when my son was in school, I started to relearn it with him.
Then a friend at NASA said he would help.
This is the guy that writes the trajectory software for the Mars missions. It's like a second language for him.
