Options for a beefier front diff?

    And how old was that little bit of oil that was still left inside when it crapped out


    I'd be less concerned about the front diff with 37s and more concerned about the axles and the steering rack. Maybe the pass side axle tube because we know someone that's blown one of those up

    It definitely wasn’t new, but I don’t think that caused the failure.

    I think I messed it up throwing it in 4WD with the brakes locked while sliding on ice. Made a pretty messed up noise and wasn’t the same after that for the next year and a half leading up to the aftermarket drain hole.

    engaging 4wd while sliding is a good way to break many things, just so happened you lost the front diff lottery on it

    It worked for a good year, then there was glitter lube all over the FS Road
