I'm trying to find the guy who took out a high interest loan from his CC for $40k, and then turned that into like $400k or something in a few weeks.

Again...same boat. ASO is climbing, GME is sinking. I could sell my GME and ASO and be positive overall, but I'm hoping the apes are right and GME turns around. No way I'm selling a profitable stock for one that seems to be continuing down. Plus, with the cost of ASO compared to GME....more eggs in more baskets.

I really hope this shit pans out like they say. But I'm hopeful because of the PR yesterday and seeing all the wash trading going on.

Nah. They're basically saying, "You screwed up, you got caught, and unfortunately it's bad enough this time that we can't just turn a blind eye. So we're going to give you some time to get your shit together while we pass some new regulations so that this can't happen again and we need to minimize the collateral damage to ourselves as much as possible. Once our regs go through, we're taking the brakes off the price suppression and turning you out to the public. You're going to lose everything, so maybe go hide some money offshore somewhere."

Makes me think things might start happening

 

There's a credible theory that the DTCC / SEC (whoever in the gov) has reached out to the hedge funds on the long side and told them to wait as well. Retail can't do enough to move the needle on its own, and the powers that be don't want Blackrock screwing up their plan before they're ready by launching the rocket ahead of schedule.

In truth, the Hedge funds on the long side are going to make money on this on the way up and on the way back down, as well as take advantage of the broader market crash that's imminently approaching.

So everybody is waiting patiently and playing nice...for now.

 

I subscribe to that theory, and it's one of the many reasons I keep buying.

This is a one time event. This won't happen again ever.

It's kind of funny - my buddy has a financial advisor that told him BR got rid of all their GME.

 

I read his 4 DDs last night and this morning to help confirm my bias again
