had our daughter's 15 mo checkup this AM, she's getting to where she recognizes the doctor's office as 'that place where the crazy bitch stabs me with a needle 2 or 3 times'. Sucks

Didn't realize there was a meningitis vaccine nowadays for kids. Back in my day, I got a natural immunity to meningitis - by having it nearly kill me when I was 1.5 yrs old

It sucks having to watch that part, doesn't get any easier either lol. She hates it more now than when she was really small, probably because she knows its coming now.

You're going to want to measure your compressed and extended lengths on your existing shock and compare it to those numbers.. 38lbs of force might be a little high. The way I check is with a heavy fish scale.

You take the existing shocks off and hook the fish scale to the center of the glass and lift till its parallel with the ground. Note the weight, then divide by 2 (since you have 2 struts) make sure the shock force you buy is at, or slightly over that weight.... if it's too high the window can swing open with such force it can actually break lol

I found three in a full summer in New Mexico. A smaller 5,6 and a decent 6. My buddy found a huge typical 8 point and someone else found the match to it but we never could fly under the radar to retrieve it. They had some big deadheads there teasing me all summer. I’ve only ever found 2 whitetail sheds but probably 6 deadheads in the past two seasons. Opposite with the elk I guess.

Company wanted me to scan them my SSN card over email. I encrypted the file and said they could call me for the password. HR rep can’t figure out how to unzip or open. Think I’m just going to send them the plain jpgs... tired of the back and forth on it.

They actually expect you to send them a pic of your SSN? Weird. I mean in all likelihood it'll be fine, but identity theft if/when it happens is a huge pain in the ass to deal with.

My dad had his identity stolen last year and used to secure a bunch of covid federal relief loan money.

I’m using it as one ID form is why I guess. Never got a passport. I’ll never be able to afford international travel anyway. But might get one to have an easier form of ID.

This reminds me of my roommate thinking it is a good idea to photoshop a social security card to have all his information to try and get a Venmo debit card... Queue him being banned from Venmo for life

    Wtf lol.

Back in college I would photoshop my grades to reflect the minimum GPA needed to get the good student discount on my auto insurance.

    Victimless crimes ftw

what would be the point of "welding" the 02 sensor into the muffler?

Well they clearly have the palsy, probably thought it would be easier than welding into pipe.
