The one that will get you pulled over and harassed the most. Besides straight pipes, maybe a gutted out muffler and cats.

Just some advice before you put the loudest thing you can find on your truck.

    1. Roll down all your windows.
    2. Turn up your stereo to 60 with some screaming death metal.
    3. Go 65mph or legal speed limit on the freeway.

Then try to hold a conversation with anyone else in the truck, or over a hands free cell phone call, while driving for an hour.

You can't turn exhaust down, but you can still roll up the windows and turn down the stereo.

Otherwise enjoy your decision and have a good time :)

an exhaust cut out. Get to make noise on demand and no drone when you don't want it. Look up some videos on youtube to see exactly what it its.

I have a 40 series flowmaster. Inside the truck it isn't that loud because its still routed to the back, but when my wife drives it, if i listen close enough i can still hear it about a half mile out. I also have a k&n intake which I think is louder than the exhaust sometimes.

I would guess a flowmaster 10 series is about as loud as you can get.

    I have no clue.
I would probably say pull a muffler off the nearest ricer civic thing and go with that.

    Wow.

I would have to agree... But it will sound like dogshit on our trucks. I'll tell you this, my Aero Turbine non-resonated was too loud for me, and I like loud. Anything straight thru will be loud

IMHOGO our v6s only sound good behind carefully thought out exhaust with tuned mufflers. Even a v8 with its sexy dual harmonic tones sounds like shit wide open. That above video proved that. OP, you have a neat truck. Please don't wreck its coolness by making it too annoying. Realize that the vast majority of folks who hear it will conclude that ya blew the muffler and are too broke or too cheap to fix it:D

This^^ Most people with just think you're an asshole. A cheap asshole (not saying you are). Don't screw the truck up. If pissing everyone around you off is your thing...well..knock yourself out. Just don't do anything to expensive because when you grow out of the "loud exhaust phase" which regardless of what you say, you will; or,you ever sell the truck you may have to fix it just to make it desirable and not sound like a ailing dirt bike. But, to each his own... good luck.

OK, even my exhaust, a wicked flow, gets a little annoying on the highway after about an hour. Its great the rest of the time, but that nice growl can turn into a headache inducing drone after a while...just keep it in mind man
