Harry sent me over the Itemized Invoice for the 62 swap and it's looking around 3k shipped with all the stuff needed. So $3400 later I'll have some nice flex in the rear end.

Ended up a bit more pricey than the 63 swap.

I spent pretty much what he charges sans shocks, as that'll be constant, on my 63 swap plus lots of labor and time with lots of help.

Yeah the carryover between will be their relocates which are around 650 off the top of my head. I don't have the invoice in front of me at work, its on my phone. The difference is the amount of work going in. Bolt with those adjustable leaf hangers and the great amount of flex is what's pushing me into the 62. That accompanied by the fact I daily this thing, the SUA will ride much nicer on road.

@81Trekker I see you stalking! What's ride height over stock with the setup in? I'm at or around 2.5-3" currently.

Yeah idk I don't like comparing rides unless I have direct comparison and one set up to another are totally different. My 63 rides nicer than a friend of mine's but it's 2 totally different packs and set ups. If I were to of done it over I'd of just bit the bullet and spent a few hundo extra and gotten custom leafs from Alcan to the specs I want. I'm sticking with SOA with the wheeling I do anything below the axle acts as an anchor, when my Ubolts are scarred i can only imagine what a leaf hanging under would do. Plus I'm going for more droop than bump especially with the hangers I'll be making and some changes. I learned a lot and know how and where to make the changes to achieve what I originally intended but fell short. The 62 swap is one hell of a kit and definitely is a lot better than 99% of cobbled together 63 swaps. I wouldn't hesitate to run it at all if I wheeled differently especially since it's about 1/2 the work to install.

I'm not really worried about them dragging. The diff is still lower and them being so close to the wheel, they'll be up wherever it is. I'm about 80-90% on road or at speed and only am able to get out like 5-10 times at best in a year. Just too busy and have a wife who's health takes priority. I'm just tired of doing the same old trails over and over because I'm limited by armor and capability. I'm hoping to kill both of those points this year with sliders, skids and the 62s.

Yeah I know. Hard to explain but certain scenarios and trails you'd have to experience to understand. I completely get the whole life stuff. Just ease into the harder stuff a little bit at a time and only go as far as you're comfortable that includes potential damage.

It depends on shackle length and position. I like stock ride height as I always set my trucks up low.

As for the 63’s I currently have them on my 4Runner and the ride is awful. They flex really good but anything over 10mph off road is horrible. The 62 spring under isn’t even comparable... you can hit 2’ whoops at 60mph no problem and still have just as much flex as the 63’s.

If you’re 100% rock crawler and can fab then a 63 swap might make sense. I will say the first thing I’m doing to my new 4Runner is doing a 62” spring under
