Does one need to get an alignment after installing just the one inch blocks in the rear suspension?

No. But one should pull them out and replace with an AAL instead. :D

Rear is not adjustable anyways, so any alignment that you have done will be on the front wheels. If you didnt touch them then no your fine.

    Like, so many.
I had to do both. I’m 2.5 upfront and my AAL wasn’t enough to keep the rear higher.

I would have put in the overload, or bought a full leaf pack. Adding a block under an AAL is a no no. To each their own.

1" block is fine. AAL makes the ride rougher unloaded.

    No alignment needed.

I just installed an AAL 30 minutes ago. Does not make the ride rough.

lifting the rear will change the camber in the front. get an alignment. better safe than buying a new set of tires, AND THEN PAYING for an alignment. just my .02. your results may vary. Ski

Depends whether it is a single or three leaf AAL, the single leafs tend to stiffen the ride more.

Agreed. Lifting rear can change front end alignment specs.

I added a leaf and it definitely rides rougher without a load. Stiffer, common sense.

Of course it does, you're adding pressure to raise the vehicle up. I've installed many and only encourage it on 2"+ or vehicles that see constant load.

Blocks are total crap. 3 leaf AAL FTW.

Little of this, little of that.
Then pull out the AAL and put in a full leaf pack.
