If it’s in your budget, install a switch pros or something similar. Makes adding lighting and accessories SO quick, easy and clean.

 

can someone with a bravo rack do me a favor. I need to know the screw hole spacing for where the grab handles go on the sides. I have some older handles I'd like to add to my rack when it comes in, and the holes are 7.25 apart. If it wont fit, going to just go with the grab handles upTOP sells.

Extreme X6S guys. Help. How can I run this clean and not look like shit? Is stripping the entire thing out and making my own wiring the only option? Lines up perfectly to bend the hood up when shut. Thick is good, but this cable is just fat. I get it's 2 sets of lights, but damn.

 

Mine fits unde the hood. My question is do i keep the relay or remove them when i have an auxbeam switchbox?... does that replace the relays that came with thr lights?

 

Can you post a pic of how you ran the wiring. I'd think you still need the relays.

I ran my wiring down the window Channel on the windshield. If you use heat shrink you can run two wires together on the channel on the outside of the windshield and a single on the inside channel. You can’t even see them. I have the three wires for the lightbar ran down the drivers side and also ran the pod lights from the rack down the passenger side.

 

I’ve had a few people pm me for pics of the lightbar installed. Here’s some photos of the extremeLED bar installed on the UpTop alpha rack. If I can help anyone out let me know.

 

That’s what I’m running. I ended up making my own wiring to run down the window channels. Looks solid and can’t see it unless you know it’s there. I ended up heat shrinking 2 wires and then heat shrinking the last single wire (matte black heat shrink blends with the windshield moulding). Ran the double wire down the outside channel and the single on the inside of the channel. See the post I have right above this for the final product. It turned out awesome

 

Bro it looks flawless. What kind of wiring did you use? And where did u make your connections for the light bar? Did u open it up? I still need to take pics of mine but mine just sits with factory harness down the molding. Also donyou have a switch panel?

 

I figured that's what I'd have to do. Did you open it at the cable gland or outside?

 

Thanks man, I’m pretty proud of how it all turned out. Took my time and wanted it to look factory. I purchased solid copper wire strand from summit racing. Best price I could find for solid copper. I tried a few different heat shrink brands but surprisingly enough, Harbor Freight was the absolute best I found. Shrunk around so good and no stupid white lettering on it. I did not open up the light bar, just ran from their connection, folded up the extra and tied together and ran down the channel from there. I’ll add some pictures. I ran everything to a switch pros 9100 along with a bracket and fuse block/bus from @Mr.PowerTrays. Maverick, you a solid dude . Dash panel for the switch pros came from @SDHQ OFFROAD as well as the billet battery terminals. I promised Drew (thanks for the stock info I called about today Drew ) @upTOPoverland I would do a write up on the install, but my kid got cancer sick and made it hard, so hopefully this helps a bunch of people out. Anything else hit me up, I’ll help how I can.
