Oof, my commute is 15 minutes. 20 minutes with traffic. Have done it in 8 before but that was off peak hours because of a pipe burst at home o_O

Going to Firestone tomorrow - couldn't get in with any local shops  had one that didn't do outside alignments.....whatever. So, hopefully it's just alignment and my ball joints are all good. If not, guess I'm getting new LCAs :notsure:

Yeah, it will likely be light until the fall when every single kid is back in school.

It's been so weird to be able to drive the speed limit through the tunnel at 7am on a weekday!

Hope you get back to it soon, have heard of some of this. Then you read articles where people are talking about mind cloudiness for months and some company is making computer games now to try to fight it...

Good luck, hopefully all better by tomorrow.:thumbsup:

My commute in the winter is 7 minutes to the ski mountain. The rest of the year, its a 1-2 minute walk, maybe 3 if I'm enjoying the stream or looking for trees that need to get cut.

I was actually offered a job w/ 15% pay increase closer to Cranston. Would mean a full on hour commute most likely, and dealing with that commute just wasn't worth that pay increase for me. I can go home during lunch .... that's a luxury I really do appreciate and am happy to "pay" for (by being paid less).

We have a standing joke at my company that you have to pass at least 2 other projects on your way to work (we're a construction company with projects all over the place).

I don't have kids either, if I did that would be a bigger input in saying F that short commute. My next gig search will definitely be a WFH if possible.

Funny part is - I work in aerospace, we make engine and gearbox seals. Super specific application....

I turn left to get to work. If I turn right, it's 15 minutes to one of our competitors instead  (but see above, next gig I want to get something WFH or at least partially, such as WFH but go to a customer site once a week or so, etc).

I spoke too soon. I felt awful so I went home, temperature has been creeping up and is 101 now. It really feels like I could sleep it off but I have an awful headache and muscle aches so I haven't been able to. Hopefully it's short lived.

The two shot method will do that - you got antibodies against something, and the second dose is putting them in you again. Your body will fight them, part of that is heating it up to cook and kill it (a fever).

Had first vaccine yesterday too. Baby probably wont be here until morning. My wife's a champ. They were doing a process and I was standing holding her hand suddenly felt hot then light andbpassed out. Went to emergency for all of like 15 mins and I checked out fine. No idea??? Not like I was quezy with the first one, had a front row seat holding one of her legs. So literally no idea. Things are going well lmao

    Interesting.
My dad had an extended dizzy spell in the morning a couple of days after his 2nd vaccine. Later in the day he had shortness of breath and a fever as well, so they went to the ER and they told him the same thing; everything's fine, can't find anything wrong with you.

That's just the guberment tracker and mind control running through some initial diagnostic cycles. Nothing to worry about. :tinfoilhat:

the brain fog is real, when we had the vid, that was my biggest issue, tired but not able to sleep, and couldn't think about anything for a few days. Wife had a bit after 2nd shot as well.

They are not injecting you with an antibodies (non-J&J), but what they inject does enter the cell nucleus and provide code to the cell to recognize the proteins of the virus. I don't want to stir up anything in this discussion, as I was on a thread a few days ago that got locked, why I don't know, but I wouldn't want this one to have the same fate.
