Goo off or even wd40 will remove it. Soak it in first, allow to soften then warm water and some soap and lightly rub it till it's gone.

I do believe the off-road is longer and covers more surface area.

I removed mine from my white. I wash, clay bar, cutting microfibre pad/cut than polishing pad/polish than finishing pad/wax.

my 2 cents. wax the whole truck. Looks to me like the paint under the stickers is a little more hydrophobic than the rest of the truck. A waxing should even it all out.

That's a horrible idea. What time?
I'd give goo gone or a bug and tar remover a try. I had a similar issue and that resolved it.

There may still be some residue there. There is also some paint discoloration since your truck is now 2+ years old and the part under the sticker wasn't exposed to the sun.

I like that idea. I did the same Meso gearshift mod, putting a USB plug in the original hole.

I think now I will use your idea and put the original button back for "warranty" purposes.

I need to research your link to the Y-cable and harness!

thank you for making me think again!

The most effective way to do it, IMO, is to use a hair dryer to loosed the adhesive left over and use a plastic shim to gently scrape off as much as you can. Then follow up with some GooGone Automatic(must be automatic blend or else you might damage the paint). The rest will require some elbow grease. You can’t tell my stickers were ever there. 36BA1706-5208-44D7-B9BD-404A843CC5F7.jpg

An interesting development. In the voicemail from Softopper yesterday the woman said I can send them an email, which I did. I specified in the email that I won't authorize them to charge the "remaining balance" to my card, and ask that they honor the price they set on their website and in the confirmation emails. I also did not imply that they had the option to cancel the order. 20 minutes after the email they called me but didn't leave a voicemail.
