Very nice! I will be going with this kit ASAP.
So the kit came with the new grill and lights?

My truck had the LED package. The kit only comes with TRD shocks, TRD Grille and accompanied parts. The kit will give you 2" lift in the front and 1" in the rear. Also something to keep in mind, this is the only lift kit authorized by Toyota to be used with TSS.

What was your price installed? I believe I was quoted around 2100.

All said and done it was $3200. Also the old shocks and old grille you need to tell them you want to keep. Otherwise they will not give them to you.
It would be interesting to know if that $2100 includes labor.

the salesperson gave me a quote for the 3” rough country which was 1200 installed and then said the oem was 2150. I figured both were install prices but perhaps not. In the following article it says the kit is 1350(not including labor).

What a great improvement. The first thing I want to do to the new to me 2016 I pick up later this week is something about the grill. Did you just buy a new OEM one, or is that aftermarket?
    Thanks,
    Dean

This is an oem .... old was took longer to remove than the new one to install.... not hard though. Probably find a take off line I did

Picked up my second tacoma last Friday. First new vehicle ever. I had a 99 tacoma from 2001 to 2006 (totalled it out). Drove 4runners ever since then. Decided to go back to a truck because I think it will make hunting, camping, biking, etc easier. TRD Off road/technology package/trail rail "sliders"
9 people tried to buy the truck while I was gone to the bank to get a check for the truck. Demand is crazy for the tacoma.

They look like and are constructed mostly like real sliders except they are mounted to the body like the steps. They are not frame mounted. I was going to have the dealer take them off to lower the price, but I felt they would counter with a labor charge. There is little to no leverage for a buyer at this time. I had already negotiated a good amount off the msrp so I didn't push it. I'll replace them with real sliders in the future when this truck is a dedicated trail rig. Until then, they are decent protection for light contact. I will not use my hi lift to lift the truck from any place on the rails or depend on them to protect the truck from harsh obstacles.
